THY WILL BE DONE

What does it mean to pray, “Thy will be done”? Very interesting...

"The gospels of Matthew and Mark identify this place of prayer as Gethsemane. Jesus was accompanied by three Apostles: Peter, John and James, whom he asked to stay awake and pray. ... The Apostle Peter and the disciples fell Asleep as Jesus went and prayed. When he came back twice he found them asleep. He even said unto them being Peter "What, could ye not watch with me one hour?. The lesson is as he said next "Watch and Pray, that he enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak." He came back and told them the hour is coming when the son of man is betrayed. Still he was going to do God's will. Not his will. See "The Our father prayer" lead us not into tempation. Sin not! Question is if you who are lost and God's enemy, are you doing your will or the devines will? If you are deceived you are doing the devils will. If you are not saved you have believed the lie and have accepted the deception and your doing your will and the world's/devils will. Do you spent time in prayer asking for things of this world that mounts to doing your will. As written : Matthew 6.33 "but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." The instruction for believers is to "keep watch". Recall the parable of the virgins. Matthew 25. Kjv. The foolish virgins were not ready and did not do God's will. So if you are asleep wake up because the kingdom God is at hand now. Time to do God's will and not your own.

The biblical Jewish Jesus Christ did the wilt (Will) of his father in heaven. He did not do his own will. Even in agony as he cried to let the cup pass him by he did his fathers will. And that was the proper will to fulfill. When we pray the our fathers prayer we are confirming his will be done. We also do not want to do evil. In the referenced (links) scriptures below the lord Jesus Christ or Moses did the wilt (Will) of the father in heaven being the eternal God. God's will is to believe on his only begotten son being the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16 Then that you make him Lord and savor of your lives. That you repent and believe in the gospel. Submit to God's WILL and not your own. "STOP FOLLOWING THE WORLD" A friend of the world makes you God's enemy.  James 4.4  Start following the God of Israel and the bible (King James Version). That is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and David.

ASK ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

Don't be a friend of the world upholding its sinful lustful and rebellious ways. Walk the narrow walk. Christ said if you want to enter into life keep the commandments. We are not saved by works and we are under a new covenant! true and his righteousness is imputed to true believers. The devil has a "WILL" too as he wishes to be worshiped and is the God of this world. He comes preaching a Jesus that is far removed from the biblical Jesus Christ. He counterfeits everything. He being the lord Jesus Christ loved us first enough to die on the cross in our place. He took the punishment we deserve and he is risen and real. Absence from God is darkness. The way is narrow and few be there that find it in their lifetimes. The kingdom of God is at hand right NOW. Repent and believe in the gospel. So you would ask then whom is the lord Jesus Christ. "The more we know God, the more readily our prayers will align with His will and we can truly pray, “Thy will be done.”  

2 Corinthians 5:10 King James Version (KJV)"10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 

These scriptures below are evidence that Christ did his father will including Moses. 

Matthew 26:36-46 KJV - Then cometh Jesus with them ..."10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven". "They wilt be done" Amen

Matthew 6:5-15 KJV - And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are. "10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven". Don't pray to be seen of men. In private.

The people will not listen (Moses the great deliverer).
Exodus 6:9-13 KJV - And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel. Moses thought whom am I that the Pharaoh will listen to me. MOSES DID GOD'S WILT (WILL). See the Lord gave them a charge being a command to do... his will and Moses obeyed.

APOSTLE PAUL DID GOD'S WILL

"1Cor. 1. [1] Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, ... [9] God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."

In this evil and fallen world that is perishing away slowing we are waiting for Christ's second coming.. which will happen at some point in time. May his Kingdom come. 

"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men ... Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition” (Mark 7:7,9). Your will but not God's will and this is not of works. This makes to null effects the word of God.

Salvation is of the lord. Now is the time to : Get Saved
