Revelation 17:1-18 – Babylon the Great Whore

Matthew 2:-2
"1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."

Yeshua Hamashiach (the Lord Jesus Christ) had nowhere to lay his head. You know they knew he was coming and the King Herod attempted to have the first born babies murdered so that he/they could avoid his birth/of Christ. He was a wicked evil King. Yet wise men/others came to see little baby Yeshua. Yes, I said Yeshua because there was no such name as Jesus in the first century. He was a Jewish Messianic Hebrew. He most likely spoke Hebrew and an offshoot of Aramaic. He never spoke English in his life. If you really want to know what he was like in his day my suggestion is study the Hebrew Religion and his/Christ's culture/and the bible of course. You know the Bible warns about another Jesus Christ/Gospel being preached on-to the world that no angel in heaven ever preached. Galatians 1:8 The Bible tells us that the true Christ who was Jewish had a face that men looked away from. Ref (L) He died early at age 33. He was the rejected cornerstone and despised of men yet he was perfect and sinless. To think about it as they knew he was going to come and be born. How could they have known this? The prophet Isaiah's prophecy. Maybe some 870 years prior. It could even go further than that. Yet nobody offered their houses or their hotel/Inn rooms. What does that tell us? Not GOOD!

When the lord Jesus Christ preached and even when he did miracles he was well aware that there were people unwilling to repent and turn to the truth. He knew that all they wanted was the reward and to be full. Even the rich young ruler Christ didn't tell him what he wanted to hear. He said to him/Jesus, good master what must I do to inherit eternal life? He said sell everything and give the money to the poor and then pick up your cross and follow me. Yeshua/Jesus looked at him and said everything. He walked away sorrowful. Then the Lord Jesus Christ turned and said to the Disciples or the Apostle that were standing there, a rich man can hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. He said it is like a camel going through the eye of a needle. Matthew 19:23 Well we know that's impossible. And it's the same thing today as there are people trying to enter in on their own terms. Salvation (L) But the word of God tells us that the way it is indeed narrow and that the world is on the broad path to destruction. And that's exactly what Christ taught. Matter a fact he said if anybody tries to enter in any other way than by the door/gospel he/she is nothing more than a thief and a robber. And he didn't stop there as he went on to say that on the day of judgment many people are going to hear that they are workers of iniquity and he doesn't know them. He's going to tell them to get away from him because he knows not whom/hence they are and never did. It is even so that such people professed his name in their lifetime but did not know him personally. He said repent and believe on the gospel or perish. (Bible says)

True faith in Christ will always lead to a changed life

We have to go by the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation is about the future and what he's going to say on the day of judgement. He's going to tell people he never knew them and to get away from him as he knows not whom they are nor where they're from. Matthew 7:23 They are lawless. They don't obey him. They're most likely worldly and deceived. They most likely hate their brothers and sisters and are blind.

You know I was watching Justin Peters and he was talking about Benny Hinn. And that he said he repented of the prosperity Gospel. But Justin doesn't think it's authentic. They accuse him of false miracles and the prosperity Gospel. I did see Justin's video coverage of Benny's repentance. That's one thing but the true walk the world despises. That's the very truth and nature of the matter. They have made the house of God house of merchandise. John 2:16 has been given to me over and over again. It shows up everywhere at all times. Why? Because it's true.

There are a lot of preachers and teachers in the world. There are some very exceptional ones. Some of them seem to have the Holy Ghost and seem dedicated to what they do. It doesn't mean in the end that they are any closer to Christ than someone else even if it appears so. Only God could know the heart. Yes I know the Bible says to test the spirits to see if they are from God. 1 John 5: 1-5 But even in doing so many fail to understand what that truly means.

 

If you claim to be in Christ and in the world at the same time then you are a hypocrite. There is scripture that is simplistic and there is scripture that is not. None of us are perfect and the Bible does instruct that a man be studied and show himself approved unto God. 2 Timothy 2:15 You could always learn and never come to the knowledge of the truth. We're not robots as we are human and we have the spirit given to us by God. God is the author of life and not us. He has told us by his son being the Lord Jesus Christ that a man must be born again. John 3:3 If you can't obey the lord on Earth then how are you going to obey  in eternity.

 

The truth is that when you have a circumcised heart and you are in Christ and you obey him then you're his sheep/disciple you must deny yourselves. Matthew 16:24.

Some Christians say that the true way that the world despises is  very, very exclusive. You see that's why the disciples or the apostles asked the Lord if it's that hard in essence then who could be saved. What was his reply? With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 God knows how to save people.

 

When Paul was talking about the simplicity that is in Christ he was talking/making reference about the Corinthians or perhaps even some other group and how teachings seeped in that were in essence abominations. The worship of Angels and sexually problems that came into the church. He wasn't talking about salvation. See : Simon Magus

 

You know Jesus said but the poor will have the gospel preached unto them. Matthew 11:5 What is the use if they never surrender? How do you know they won't surrender? I'm talking about coming to faith in Christ. God knows how to save people

 

Ephesians 2: 8-9

"For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”

 

"So we see that faith, given as a gift by God, is what saves us. But the next verse tells of the results of that salvation: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Rather than being saved by some easy act of our own wills, we are saved by the hand of God Almighty, by His will and for His use. We are His servants, and from the moment of salvation by faith, we embark on a journey of pre-ordained good works that are the evidence of that salvation." Ref (L)

Some of this came from research and from the things in such as parables that Christ taught in his given time/ministry. He said when you have done it unto the least of these then you have done it unto me. He was angry at the Pharisees because they laid heavy burdens on men's shoulders. They also shut up the Kingdom of heaven for others and to themselves. You're not saved by religious rituals which many are abominations. Many people have idols and bow and pray to them. A picture is worth a thousand words. Not that I will include that here.

 

How long does it take to be saved. It's not a long process although it might take people a long time to get to that date or that day. But then what about baptism. Why is it so hard for people to get baptized. I mean they have time for everything else but not time to REALLY care about the lord Jesus Christ. He was baptized and so should you be.

Believe me I do see that when you extend a hand to help people they throw it back into your face and misunderstand. Are there worldly people in the body of Christ? Are there prosperity teachers or preachers in the body of Christ? Are there liars in the body of Christ? Are there people that are not born again in the body of Christ? Is anybody not covered by the blood in the body of Christ? It's by his stripes that we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24) Without the shedding of blood there would be no forgiveness for sins.

How many Christians truly understand that? The gospel says not to condemn. Christians are famous for such. The gospel says that the measure you use will be used against you. Christians do this and then they claim to be in Christ. Easy believism. I never knew you. I know not hence you are.

I've examined them and found them to be liars. God knows the heart and nothing gets by him. Lets examine some scripture below. There were those whom claimed to be Apostles and God knows they are false brethren.  They deceive their own souls. Referring to Revelation 2:2. We know there were those whom claimed such from history/scripture/Gods word makes that known. 

Revelation 2:2 (KJV) 

“"I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:” 

 Revelation 2:5  (KJV) 

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent"." 

Note: In revelation 2:5 God is warning such to return from their fallen nature and go back to the 1st works or he will remove their candlestick. Their light will be darkened. They will become desolate.  

  

These scriptures above belong to their prospective bible passages and in some cases, it is/could be making reference to the fallen Jews or the Christian Church assemblies/congregation of their day that were Luke warm or addressing those that knew of others that were evil liars or false brethren/Apostles/fallen away. The point is if we are to draw an analogy as Christian believers in the biblical Jewish Jesus Christ than even when we fall or are drawn away say by a prosperity gospel or influenced/enticed to add to our worship things that are an abomination to God he knows our hearts and likewise. Thinking themselves to be wise they became fools. Romans 1:22 kjv

We can/should/be advised/relate/learn/repent as believers because God knows our hearts. i:e Romans 12:2 When people are deceived and think themselves to be wise but are in retrospect world sucking hypocrites that hate the gospel/hate/reject the real way & the real God they are no less liars and hypocrites. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. People hate the truth and follow all the false ways of deception. But those that endure/repent/turn back/even the assemblies/congregations/body of Christ members God/Christ knows they whom are patient and they hate/despise evil do well if/when they heed the call/word of the lord. Today people are without natural affection. 2 Timothy 3:3 For example: I recall a day when I was younger and you went to a restaurant/Cafe and people conversed. Today everyone walks around plugged into their phone and on the mind consistently is entertainment and a love for the pleasures of this sinful life/world. People are storing up treasures in earth and not treasures in heaven. It was the late Ravi Zacharias whom once said today people just insult others like its nothing and he shed a tear when he said it while he was preaching. Even those who claim to know God with their prosperity gospel are filling the minds of people to live in Paradise now while they wax richer and their hearts are far, far from the lord. Is this the life the Apostles, Paul or the Martyrs of Jesus Christ (Yeshua) lived? I tell you nay! Unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Perish to that place where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. 

DEVOUT MEN: The day of Pentecost: If we look at Acts 2:5 it's written "5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven"." 

Now if we look at Acts 2: 17-20 "17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:  20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: "

Well then God pours out his spirit in the last days and shows great wonders from the heavens but there will come judgment as well. Sin brings forth death. God has examined everything and knows all things. He is omnipresent. 

The lord Jesus Christ said in John 10:27-30 

"27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 

29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

God knows whom are the world sucking hypocrites that are liars that hate him. "I've examined them and found them to be liars". There are deceived people as there always was that are not even aware of such nor do they care. They are in darkness. The devil deceives the WHOLE WORLD. There are Christians whom are not Christians but deceive themselves and are being deceived. There are false teachers bringing people into spiritual fornication to their own ignorance. There are prosperity preachers that might be spreading the name of Jesus but they are also tainting and deceiving people and giving them false hope. This world is WICKED. As Gods word says "I've examined them and found them to be liars"

Foot Notes: I am not saying that any of the 12 Apostles were false Apostles.  Nor I am suggesting that Paul was a false Apostle. It appears that Judas Iscariot was the son of perdition and lost. However he was replaced with Matthias. Not sure if Matthias was just temporary though. But there were people claiming to be Apostles and also false brethren as it started even in their day as written. You know about Simon Magus the sorcerer.
