Death is swallowed up in victory

 

Recently I did a blog on the incorruptible seed. With the Corona virus and what is plaguing the world many have lost their lives since 2019/2020 going forward. Nations are perplexed. Various celebrities have passed away as reported of the Corona virus or complications thereof. There's been a lot reported in the media concerning riots and chaos. Many people have lost their jobs. Worshiping God has become complicated (forbidden) in that there are restrictions. Many have been going through trials and tribulations. We are not the first ones. The world had other plagues. I would say God is not too happy with the world filled with rebellion, evil and compounded sin. You know those things men highly esteem are an abomination onto God. Not everyone worships the same God. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and rulers of evil “ spiritual wickedness “ in high places. Ephesians 6:12 Our faith must be rooted in the Biblical Jesus Christ. He is Lord of lords and a true king. He is risen and sits at the right hand of the father. 

 

So the word of God says that eventually death will be swallowed up. Sin leads to death. You die spiritually and you could also die physically and perish. 

 

Today I heard that Larry King passed away. Here is what I recently said in a post. 9.55 am

I heard Larry king passed away today. He was 87 years old. He went through a lot in his life. My condolences to his family and friends. I grew up watching the Larry king show. It was a good show. Larry was a professional broadcaster. I’m not sure that he believed in Jesus. Nonetheless it does make me sad a little hearing about his death. If he didn’t believe in Jesus he will find out that he is real. As far as true Christians they have an inheritance to look forward to. Here is the word of God.

 

Noticed that it says death is swallowed up in victory. In what? Victory. Amen

 

1 Corinthians 15:54 kjv 54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The word of God tells us in Matthew 4.10

Christians are to worship God and serve only God. So please sing praises for the Lord. Unfortunately during this pandemic worship has become “Limited” or not possible together with others in person. The word of God tells us don't forsake the assembly. Hebrews 10:25

 

Matthew 4:10. In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads: “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

 

Jesus gave us a new commandment as he said to love each other. But he also said to pick up your cross daily. God loved us even before the foundations of the world were laid. He gave us his only begotten son. Praise the Lord. 

 

You know yesterday I was thinking or contemplating how babies are born in modern day in the delivery room. Some by Caesarean section. But many people when they die they leave in a hurst and are buried. Some are cremated. Women experience birth pains and mainly after that baby is born they experience joy as they see this new life that God has created. Isn’t that incredible. But death will be swallowed up. Give the Lord thanks and praise. Another thing to note in light of saying this when I was contemplating it somehow I was reminded of 666. Abortion is murder. Christ overcame death. He said it is finished.    

 

The lord Jesus came that you would have life and have it abundantly. But I am reminded of John 10:10 at times. The whole world is in the hands of the evil one. Our faith must be “routed” in the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Additional footnotes as I recall / remember: 

Yesterday breast cancer came to mind as I seen an image of Linda McCartney. She died young. That is not as young as some but nonetheless she died young. I heard that Paul McCartney cried for a year afterwards. God is going to wipe away all of the tears but you have to be saved and put your faith in the biblical Lord Jesus Christ.   Pray often for your brothers and sisters in Christ and for the world leaders.   Preach the gospel.
