These things I have spoken unto you

 

John 16:33

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

You have to see life through God's eyes and not your eyes. Sometimes not an easy thing to do. He without sin throw the first stone. You have to know who God really is. You have to know who Jesus Christ really is. He even asked his disciples whom do people say that I am and then whom do you say that I am. He is the Christ the son of the living God. He is not pagan and he never taught anybody to do/practice pagan rituals. Now from experience many people are willing to cast the first stone. Even though within they are full of iniquity and all manners of sin and indulgence. So many are blind and so many are hypocrites. Different people struggle with different problems. Some people have set up a network of ungodly people. Other people may have found the real God but love the world and all it's pomp & deception more. See they might be glorified by the world and that makes them God's enemy. James 4.4 We could be talking about young adults or middle-aged people or even older people. There are people that are so far removed from righteousness that they assume that there is no God judging them. The Bible says that nations that forget God are turned into hell. Sodom and Gomorrah is going to stand judgment one day.  No one is going to get away with anything. They might think so. God knows all things and he sees all things. The earth is his footstool. What is it going to profit you to gain the whole world and perish?

 

You know I always remember what the apostle Peter said. He said that the wicked laugh at things that are holy that they don't understand. He said they were made to be destroyed. 2 Peter 2:12 You ever watch comedy and how they make a mockery of things that God considers holy. And in fact the same people making the mockery are nothing more than an abomination to their own maker as they embrace darkness that they see as light in mockery. If they can see the day of judgement now they would tremble with fear. 

 

Sexual sins. God takes these things seriously. Remember James said that the power of life & death is in the tongue and the tongue is a mighty poison. James

 With it we bless people and with it we curse people.

James 3:8-9

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

So why did I mention that? Because men call women whores and it implicates themselves. Both parties are guilty parties when it comes to sin.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. It needs to be and it must be sanctified by God. Same-sex marriage is nothing more than an abomination and rebellion in the eyes of God. God would not sanctify such. Heaven & earth will pass away but the words of the Lord will never pass away. Matthew 24:35

 

For people struggling with temptation of sexual sin there is something there that is a payoff and you end up doing what you don't want to do. Wasn't it apostle Paul who said there is no good in this body  as he ends up doing  that which he doesn't want to. Romans 7:18 Sex was created to bear children. There is some sort of mechanism that controls you in the wrong way if you give heed to seducing spirits. You have to overcome. No wonder God Commands to not make nor worship graven images. Humans are social creatures and they see things in a physical manner/matter but of course there is a way out. As we know that is to renew your mind. God's word says when you are weak you are strong. Don't misunderstand and think that you should be weak. Go research Sodom and Gomorrah. That is what God thinks of sexual sin. The word of God tells us to not be conformed to this world in Romans 12.2  Put your mind on things from above. Think about Boxing Day as so many have their mind on material things but not his will. That old saying, meanwhile back at the ranch. Put your mind on things from above.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If you’re not saved and you’re not a true Christian it’s time you become one.
