THEY DO NOT HEAR THE WORD NOR PERCEIVE
Revelation 22:15"15 But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." Their fruits are known and obvious to the true believer.
"Everyone who loves and practices falsehood!!!". The word of God warns about adding or taking away from it. Revelation 22:18-19 So many per-fessing Christians whom are truly not Christians have been led astray by another gospel and another Jesus Christ in which no Angel in heaven ever preached unto the world. Those being true believers know what happened because God's word and history is foretelling and true. The cross of a true Christians is partly the bible truth as the devil was a liar from the beginning. You cannot disobey the heart of the law. Although we are not under the law. Error is "NEVER" truth but deception wrapped in brainwashing. Now you have an idol. So here is a paragraph from an article that sums it up well.
Those who follow the lusts of the eyes and uphold all manner of vanities of things filled with sin, adultery, idolatry, abominations, all forms of lust and worldliness reject the word of God and follow counterfeit are of their father the devil. They are lost. They are reprobates and like someone on drugs they are narrow minded and ensnared by the enemy. That is partly why the world cannot receive the spirit of truth. First off they are deceived. and they love all the vanities and things that are sin filled of the world as I have said already. They are spiritually muted/dead! The lord Jesus Christ said they hear but they don't hear nor perceive. He even went as far to say that if they "really" heard with those ears and "really" would see with their eyes they may be saved/follow his narrow way but they could not care less. Matthew 13:16 God's word reveals they could have been saved but they did not hearken their ears unto the lord. They despise the biblical truth and embrace the sin ridden world and the deception with OPEN ARMS. They are so far gone they don't even realize it any longer. Its very hard to reach them. I've heard it said they are under demonic oppression.
From my personal experience when a person is as described as above they end up loving the deception and don't know they are truly serving two masters. Some of us were at one time in this state of none-repentance and mind. You cannot love the world and God at the same time. Impossible! You will love the things God hates and in-turn end up deceived and have a carnal mind, a deprived reprobate mind to do those things that are displeasing to the lord. They become ensnared in a sin filled lifestyle and they never can digest the biblical truth, nor see or accept their error so they don't repent unless they really end up seeing and truly believing. The God of this world has blinded them. (2 Corinthians 4:4 ; Revelation 12:9 ) They are lost and not true Christians as such but they may feel they are going to heaven because they are good or have some sort of good in them. There is not even one. Isiah 64.6 We are as filthy rags. We are not saved by works. We must seek the righteousness of the lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
The lord Jesus Christ said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. How is that? Once you accept it then you know/should understand that you were going/following the wrong way and it was then the broad way that leads to destruction. Narrow is the way that leads to life and few be there that find it in their lifetime. Now you are free to follow the right way as you have been made aware of the deception and your blindness God will/has opened your eyes. God knows who truly loves him and who could care less.
You know Moses was puzzled that the lord thy God would send him unto pharaoh. He was slow to speech and did not think he would have the words that the pharaoh would heed to let his/Gods people go. God gave him the words he was to speak. Moses needed to "trust" God just like people need to have faith and trust the word of God. For example: "Then the Lord said to him, “Who gives speech to mortals? Who makes them mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?". Some people are blind and have hardened hearts. What hardened their hearts? Answer: God. He gave them over to a reprobate mind. They hate the biblical truth and love the vanities and all those things that are sin ridden & filled in this ungodly world. He the lord knew their thoughts and their refusal to acknowledge biblical truth as set forth by God himself. The strange thing is they keep each other blind let alone their children that are taught the error as well.
Such lost people serve another Jesus Christ in modern biblical times and a God with no name at all because he is not the true God. They serve a God crafted to their likely. The true eternal blessed God they heed not and know not off. They have the attention of the world on their minds and as their priority. Again that is the attention of things sin filled that perish. They have God on their lips but deny the real one his glory. They call out to God when they hear of things they cannot control that is shocking perhaps in the media or that they see or experience somewhere. But their thoughts are on worldliness consistently. They are lost and really unbelievers.
God is sending out an SOS through his word and his ministers of the word of God. The word does not return void. The staff of God for preachers is the word of God. Moses had a staff and he later received the word of God being the commandments. He was led by the spirit of God as well into the wilderness. He went from being a prince of Egypt to becoming a slave and deliver of the Israelite's whom were in bondage. He though "Who am I" that the pharaoh will heed/listen to me to free the slaves. " He was not alone. The lord Jesus Christ said where two or three are gathered together in my name there I am. Matthew 18:20
Recently I heard a sermon where a preacher spoke about God wiping away all tears and all things from the past that offend and would give pain in eternal life to the saints/saved. He was referring as if a loved one went to hell that you would not have this burden on your thoughts in the afterlife. They made the choice to Hitherto but "wouldest" not hear. They choose to reject the word of God and not see their error and turn from their sins and repent. The word of God tells us to have no other Gods before him but such people do. The devil was a liar from the beginning. Truth is they are not children of God nor are they born again believers. They are truly lost.
What can we do? Its truly disheartening to me. Go and make disciple of the lord and preach the word. What is gained will be gained and what is lost "may" be lost. With God all things are possible so never give up hope but go forward in faith with the word of God. God is not mocked.
YOU CANNOT SERVE THE WORLD AND GOD.
