The Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive

No longer do I call you servants...

I have many things to tell you but you can't accept them/hear them now as the Lord Jesus Christ basically said. That is what Christ told those disciples or his apostles. Those people that he taught what he did. Those ears that listened to his teachings in his day.

John 16:12

"13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come."

John 15.15

"No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you."

John 16:11 

"And in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned." Just as written : Colossians 2:15 (KJV) "15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

John 14:17 King James Version (KJV)

"17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Mark 4:33

"And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it."

You know the devil (darkness) knows the game as he's been at it for a few or plus thousand years or more.  Actually he has been at deception being evil since the garden when Eve was beguiled by the serpent. You can't do it on your own as a true believer in Christ. It’s true you have to do it on God's power. Christ paid the price but there is a cross to bear still. You need God's guidance. In fact he told us through the Apostle Paul and even Christ's teachings in those parables what to do. There was a parable about the foolish virgins. Five took oil for their lamps and the others did not. The fuel for those lamps. Give me some of your fuel. Your oil! But they couldn't because then they wouldn't have enough for themselves. Christ likens this to ten virgins going out to meet the bridegroom. In retrospect these foolish virgins were not ready and want somebody else to bear their cross or pray them into eternal life, even  extend their righteousness while they follow the world and maintain a reprobate mind, & sinful, non submitted deceived lifestyle. They are not ready and "DO NOT LISTEN". Christ said my sheep hear my voice and they obey. Such are not his sheep and they reject the true walk. Just as written "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Romans 1:22-23

I agree that divisions aren't good or endless debates as well but a preacher who evangelizes the word of God should know how to explain doctrine and deliver the gospel message.  Ecclesiastes12:10 Satin is the God, prince of this world and the world for the most part worships him. Many are deceived. Who made him (Satin) God of this world? Yes God allows it or it would not be so but he has a reason. It works his purpose. And Satin's time is limited. The World denies the power of God as it loves its own. "Peace I leave you but not as the world leaves you" as Christ said. Why can't the world hear the spirit of truth? The world loves darkness and see that darkness as "their" light. Its their God. They love their own. That is the state of the fallen world. Everything is perishing as they say. Dust to dust. Narrow is the way and there is a cross to bear. "Some "People want a relationship with the lord Jesus Christ but cast away the cross. After all it’s a free gift as they reason among themselves. I can have may cake and eat it too. He know us/true Christians believers and he lives in those whom have accepted him. "but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Matthew 10:20

"For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Romans 8:10"

"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness."

1 Corinthians 14:15

"is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also"

People are told/taught that there is no God. People are taught evolution which of course is a lie. We did not come from monkeys or apes. People don't obey the provisions God set forth in his word being the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ. This below is not to start an endless debate regarding evolution. 

This blog is about the spirit of truth the world cannot receive. What did I say "cannot receive". The world is Godless, fallen and it's deeds are evil just as Christ said.

The world does not see the spirit of Truth nor does it know him. The world follows many other Gods either aware or unaware. The world is deceived greatly. The world sees life in things and money as its God. The world sees culture, entertainment, and the worldly ways as life and many unclean things that is attached thereof.  These are distractions and the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. People just cannot accept the truth biblical narrative.  People have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. People are enslaved to so many things that further blinds them to the true gospel or knowing the real God. People are extremely sinful. In retrospect people are spiritually blind and don't even know it. In fact they don't even know that such a thing could ever exist because they never knew him being the spirit of Truth.  

And of course you have free WILL. Maybe those whom live in dictatorship societies may not be free in the way they would have hoped but they have the mind and spirit to accept Christ regardless. 

THE "Spirit is life because of righteousness."

Consider this for those who think they understand!!

"Verse 4. - Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Wast thou present? Didst thou witness it? If not, what canst thou know concerning it? And if thou knowest nothing of creation, what canst thou know of deeper things? The metaphor, by which the creation of the earth is compared to the foundation of an edifice, is a common one (Psalm 102:25; Psalm 104:5; Proverbs 8:29: Isaiah 48:13; Isaiah 51:13, 16; Zechariah 12:1; Hebrews 1:10, etc.), and is to be viewed as a concession to human weakness, creation itself, as it actually took place, being inconceivable. Declare, if thou hast understanding. That is, if thou hast any knowledge on the subject (comp. ver. 18)"

Many don't have ears for the truth and will perish as they refuse to open their ears, minds and really don't/can't listen let alone obey the gospel. They have been blinded by the God of this world. " Truly, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. " (2 Corinthians 4:4 ; Revelation 12:9 )

Preach the word in season and out of season and at all times.  

P.S Don't think it's easy to walk the narrow road but it is necessary. You can do it if you set your mind to it. Put your mind on things from above. Remember his sacrifice. We were purchased with a price.
