A WORD OF THOUGH - LIVING HOLY

I will say the christanity from today is far different than that once of Christ's/Apostles day. As I read elsewhere in the past they would be shocked by today's Christianity.

 

How did this topic start. I have a song called follow me. In that song there is a line that says, living here in hell is not to worthy. Then I seen a video of street preacher Jesse Morrell who touched on living holy in the video and so what I see/experience in society as a believer in the lord Jesus Christ is terrible compared to yesterday/years back. We are NOT getting better but worst and Christ did say an evil sinful generation of vipers (The last one) would present themselves and they are here. First here is the video.

²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Is it possible to live HOLY in  a world where you may be working with dirty mouths that are up against the holy spirit and really hate God. Yes of course but if that be the case you may have to plan on having a Job were ethics/manners are supported. Or you could fight to turn it to GOD if that seems possible given your circumstances/situation. I do know about ministering to such people as well. You can avoid living unholy in a family that rejects this by making a decision to not be defiled supported by scripture and the holy ghost/spirit. You can have a prayer life and a life submitting to Christ/God.  In other words I am making the point if it be work related than working for a company that insists on good manners is important. I have seen this before but in modern day this is going out the window as that generation of VIPERS the gospel testifies too exists with thrust. People are falling away and people are following all the corrupt ways of the world. You may not be able to teach ethics none the less God has commandments that were made for man. We are not under the law but grace although righteousness/good manners is still required/relevant.  The lord Jesus Christ taught us the road but that narrow light/road is rejected by mankind/Satin as well. You MUST be a serious believer in messiah/Christ. Then you MUST walk in the spirit and not the carnal flesh. If you made a commitment to God this ((Must)) be priority in what ever factors apply. True believers must pray for their fellow Christians instead of condemning them. Yes, I heard about the bumper sticker that reads "Its not God I hate by his fan club." I've come across this in people that either were believers at one time or another or resists being a believer for reasons of condemnation or simply they love their sin. Sometimes origin-zed religion hurt some people and that turned them off. I have talked to people and ministered to some people the word of God. I hear the stories. Preaching the word may be an offense to some people but true life is in Christ. In "heart" there is room for love and acceptance as well but the word is a living word and it's the living truth so we preach the word. Narrow is the road that leads to salvation. Turn to the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ.

I recall/remember a time when there was at least some morals in a work place but nowadays this is becoming something of the past.  Perhaps there is still hope but a true believer will pray for those people and yes even show them love but work is work and there is a time to work and a time to preach. Morals (Good manners) is important. When people talk dirty they in their heart/mind with evil thoughts they are opening a porthole to that demonic world, a door and becoming part of the problem against God. Look at the abortion rate worldwide where sex and defilement have become a sport, a business as we know it and even Christ knew it. They say God is holy and he cannot see sin so how can we live holy in an evil fallen world that is not so. Ponder that thought. You have to pick up YOUR CROSS and fight the good fight.

To live holy one must be serious about the faith and MUST love God with ALL their heart mind and soul and wear the armor of God and not be afraid to use it either. They must exhort, rebuke with long suffering.  They will have a relationship to God and a prayer life. These people will be a fisher of men as well. We Must worship Christ/God. Such people must have love and righteousness in their heart and on their lips. They must be interested in studying the word of God and have that word on their mind day/night. They must renew their minds and set this on things that be of God. They must be forgiving but not interested in following the wicked ways of the world. They must not be Idol Worshipers or bow down to any graven image or idol. You must NOT follow the vain traditions of men. That means no pagan holidays and if it is not biblical refrain from doing anything that is an abomination to God. You will need to fast and deny yourselves. They must worship God in spirit and in truth. Many refuse to pick up their cross and many are perishing. When Christ told the Samaritan woman he would give her the living water this is the water that lasts for eternity. With human water you will thirst again. Do you want to parish or do you want to be blessed and have real life? Christ's yoke was easy and his burden was light as he REALLY walked in the light men reject. They MUST have faith in GOD. 

Let's look at the definition of "Holy". In essence it is to be separated as God is separated from man who is sinful. It also means "sacred." I like to think "pure" in heart as well. They say the  prophet Elijah was so blessed with God's holiness that when he passed on if someone touched his bones they were healed of diseases/their sicknesses. He was human. How did he achieve that? It is possible but it required commitment and willpower/submission.  Elijah was living at a time unlike now with all this technology and all these wicked things filling the minds of people. You have to be a servant of the most high God and be committed to picking up that cross. Christ was sinless and he was human. Of course he was the messiah but he did teach us how to achieve this by his preaching/teaching and he was the example. He said those whom believe in him will do greater things. You need to walk in the spirit to be pure in heart "holy" and shun sin. No swearing and no rebellion. No wicked thoughts. I would think the Angels have holiness as well. They were created above us. It is said they don't bring railing accusations against us in front of God's throne but Christians condemn each other. Satin does condemn us in front of God's throne for evil reasons. See why you have to be forgiving!!!  I'm not talking about standing up for righteousness and preaching as so many have ears to hear but they reject the truth or to live in the truth.You need to have a tongue that is not cursing people. The tongue boasts of great things and can be an evil member of the body. Compassion, love forgiveness and separation from those things that Satin is interested in needs to be priority. You must think as God thinks and be one with God.

dedicated or devoted to the service of God, the church, or religion: a holy man.

saintly; godly; pious; devout: a holy life.

having a spiritually pure quality: a holy love.

entitled to worship or veneration as or as if sacred: a holy relic.

Its true we have been saved by grace but many Christians who even are saved and not one is perfect hear but hear NOT. Let them hear who can accept it. We are not saved by works but true religion is to visit the orphans, widows and those in jail, the sick, the lame, and open your house to the poor. Too love regardless with a pure heart. Worker of "inequity" what Christ will tell the multitudes on the day of judgment. Too lack fairness or justice. One must be merciful.

I've heard people say I am good God will forgive me and save me while they follow another gospel and another Christ. This is not the gospel. A man/woman MUST be born again by the spirit of GOD.

 

Just because I say this does not mean I don't love those in the world and lost as I do. They are in my prayer and I love them regardless and have worked with such people. I am not interested in the things that Satin and that demonic world is. I am interested in the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ and following HIM alone. What about you? Are you saved? You should be. Turn to the gospel and get saved.

You can live as close to being HOLY as possible but you will really be so in heaven one day. In essence you have to be one with Christ and think like he does.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
