Acknowledging the truth

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness. 2 Peter 3:10-11 KJV

 

There are times when a Christian may talk about reprobate minds and other Christians who teach and study the word of God may say you are self-righteous because you are talking about reprobate minds when notorious criminals have been saved. First who is to say a notorious criminal was saved? Even if you feel they have perhaps been saved they many not have been saved. God knows who is trying serious about the faith, and who is saved and who are the wishful thinkers. Even truly born-again Christians are not perfect, and Christ said there is not even one taking into account he had Apostles and disciples in his day let alone many believers. It is one thing to really believer and another to believer with a wishful thinking attitude. Some people "truly" know Christ is real. He wrote it on our hearts and it does not take much if one seeks with an open heart to know the gospel is real. So then why is it people like Bart D. Ehrman whom is a  Bible scholar stopped believing. He said the gospels are all messed up and forged. Because he said himself he never got into it because he truly discovered Christ but because he wanted to do scholarship on the gospels. He probably is not a true believer. He calls himself an agnostic. When someone copies a Manuel for say your computer it must be right and it tells you about the computer and many details about it. You think those scribes and their superiors would not have taken careful precautions when it comes to God, Christ and the written word. Sure, over time with the different translations, languages and the flesh and the devil things were added and taken out that don't belong in the gospel, but we know from logic, from the spirit of God and the prophets what is. In other words, it reveals enough to know what road to travel and that the faith/gospel is true. Christ's words are profound, and they are true.

Even born-again Christians are not perfect and although everything is made new in spiritual terms in their walk with God and Christ they are not perfect. Look at Peter who told the lord he would stand his ground and then denied his master three times when the hen crowed. Thomas was known as doubting Thomas. They were scared, and Christ knew it. So, what am I getting at? It's one thing to have God on your lips but if you live carnal and opposed to his word and you cause others to fall in your love for the world and its ungodly ways then you can see the crooks of the matter. It's another not to be perfect even for a true dedicated Christian who at least acknowledges the truth gospel wise. Many people get angry and reject Christ while they serve a Christ that is pagan and worldly. God gave them over to a reprobate mind. Sure, there are those God will deliver out of the hands of Satin, but many are generational lost as their parents were too and converting them to the biblical truth is next to impossible for the great majority of them. The God of this world has blinded their minds as it is written. See why God gave them over to their own demise. A man burning lust for another man and vice versa same but different type of a reprobate mind. They are enslaved to that witch is not natural. They have accepted that this is OK. But God says there will be punishment after this life for such sins unrepentant.

Sure there are spiritual blessings for those Christ came to call out to his ministry and his body of believers. But many cannot retain the knowledge of the truth and so they have been given up to believe the strong delusion God sent. If angels are said to cheer and rejoice when a sinner comes to repentance than what do they do with someone that God gave over to believe the lie being/referring to a person with a reprobate mind and they live a lie themselves? They MUST cheer and rejoice.

If you worked at Apple computers and you went over to Sony and believed you were still at Apple let alone that the Sony computer are really apple parts inside them would that not be weird or what! That is what many people do with Jesus Christ. Many have their own brand of Christ. You need to know who the bible Christ is/was. He was Jewish and he is the Christ of the King James Bible. He did not keep pagan traditions and never taught pagan concepts. Matter of fact many things people add to the gospels he never taught nor did his apostles or disciples. What!! Who does the world really worship?? The devil! We wish it was the true and living GOD. It is written he is the prince of this world and he even tempted Christ himself. Go figure!

Some people say salvation is not intellectual, but it is spiritual. When they say this what they are getting at is not everyone is saved by head knowledge but by believing Christ truly is whom he said he was and believing on the gospel. They are saying  some people use intellectual head knowledge to try and explain salvation and tell people to call upon the lord. In other words that is not enough you must realize God is involved and he is spirit. There is a spiritual connection. Did Christ ask the man on the cross or the rich man if he knew God was a spirit and believing requires spiritual insight. NO! It's most likely common sense. If God is a spirit and we are spirits in bodies than it is logical to assume there is spirituality involved. If not then God would not be God.

See Jesus Christ was perfect, and he is the head of the body of Christ. He is the head of his temple! He is lord and master and we are not. We must at least acknowledge who he is/was. Some people like Charles Lawson did a sermon on the deity of Christ to explain this. This can be complicated as Charles gets into the politics of the past/faith wise. Christ is the Alpha & the Omega. He is the one appointed to come to earth and be the lamb that takes away the sins of the world even before the foundations of the earth were laid. After people get saved and acknowledge the truth, they need to pick up their cross and follow him. Why is it a cross? Because following means to turn from sin and the world does not live according to the gospel but it opposes it. Enter the straight gate which is indeed straight and narrow. He told Peter FOLLOW ME. Christ stood for the gospel truth. He is whom he said he was!

 

Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. 1 Chronicles 16:8 KJV

 Some say that if people have not received their blessings and spiritual gifts it is because they either don't read God's word or they don't rightly divide the word of God or its basically their fault. Is this true? Yes, for the most part but there are people effected by automobile & work accidents, weather-related issues, disabilities, etc or by other people's evil. It depends, and it requires reasoning and logic. If we are talking generally then yes. See Eve had an option as we do when we make the choice and chose sin. Then we die spiritually. We need to make the choice to repent and truly turn from sin onto life in Christ. If a person is not saved then of course they have not received the spiritual gifts. They may have other natural birth given gifts though.

There is good and bad everywhere but ONLY GOD is truly good. There is a gossip every foot these days. The gospel tells us to not waste our time on such silliness. Remember Christ said to the man "Why do you call me GOOD. There is not even one I tell you."  The heart/Soul/Spirit is wicked and who can know if. The Apostle Paul knew there was no good in his flesh. Christ understood this concept with precision. Do you? 

Jesus Christ had nowhere to lay his head despite being the messiah, the savior of the world and the Christ. He is the anointed one! Why was there nowhere to lay his head? Because he was mocked, hated and had a face men turned away from. He was afflicted for our transgressions. Even when he was born they had no special place at the Inn for him. They did make room in a stable. Amen! God appeared to Moses in a burning bush and Christ was born in the wilderness. God does not dwell in temples made out of human hands as it is written. The Kingdom of God comes NOT by observation. It is in you. Greater is he that is in YOU than in the world. The world rejects the gospel for the most part and serves Satin.  The world is pagan in it's walk and passes laws against the living God. That is the cross. Not easy to follow Christ as MOST say NO to GOD and yes to the world and all of its lust and deception.This is why there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth on judgment day. People embrace the deception and hate the biblical truth. So many are beguiled by the devil and his devices.

Today you have a choice to get saved and believe the on the gospel. They preach Christ crucified but he is risen. Amen

Can a reprobate turn back to God? There are some that never change as they are deceived all the days of their lives as there are many religions in the world teaching none biblical concepts.
