The chain reaction of not obeying the Lord. For none believers or people that are without understanding or deceived. The bible says be studied and show thyself approved.
Romans 5:19

Joshua 5:6
“For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.”

You see after 400 years in slavery in Egypt the Hebrew slaves were finally set free. They had a deliver. But in their Journey being after four generations they disobeyed 1st Moses then later through the wilderness they disobeyed again the voice of the Lord and they in turn circled the wilderness for 40 years probably until most of those generations died out. Joshua had a role in those later more extensive. What happened is they fell away and very few seen the promise land if any. Perhaps it was Joshua. To think that even their children disobeyed what the prophets had prophesied for the promised chosen people to turn back to the Lord. Perhaps they became stingy lose Pharisaical types. This is the result of disobeying the God of Israel which is the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.
Deuteronomy 9:28 “Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.”
Joshua 23:15 “Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.”
The above is what was on my heart today. I have now expand below. That was the response of the Lord of people that he provided a deliver. That was the price for disobedience. Remember some people made a golden calf and disobeyed Moses. God hates Idol worship, calls it foolishness.
The Bible records the first murder being Cain and Abel. Cain murdered Abel because his brothers sacrifice was accepted and his was rejected.
So when in modern days people disobey they can become under the curse of God and there are generational curses. And God tells us even to come out from among them that don't obey him. 2 corinthians 6:17 It tells us if we refuse the plagues will be added on to us and people live ignorant to this reality. Revelation 18:4 The Bible says many are perishing and people are ignorant to that. Everyday there are funerals and every day there are births. Everyday there are Abortions being murders that angers the lord. Nobody is promised another day. The biblical Jesus said that many will wake up to be damned. Just as he told the Pharisees how could you escape damnation. And there's only one way out it is to be covered by the blood of the Lamb the biblical Lord & bred & born Jewish Jesus Christ. J316 Call upon the lord and you will be saved! Romans 10:13 Kjv

Some man grabbed an expensive microphone out of Adams hands. That's assault. Please pray for brother Adam. Pray for the man that grab the microphone out of his hand. We would hope this fella would come forth and pay for that Mike and possibly get saved. Is he man enough?What will be the chain reaction of rebellion in that man’s life? You reap what you sow. Someone came forward and provided the funds for Adam to cover the cost for the mikes. Adam has said he could go after the fella but quoted scripture and is going to forgive instead. God is serious about sin and the message of the street preachers on the beach God takes serious. So come to Christ. Wake up people before it’s too late.

The evidence
“The book of Exodus says that after crossing the Reed Sea, Moses led the Hebrews into the Sinai, where they spent 40 years wandering in the wildnerness. Three months into the desert, the Hebrews camped at the foot of the Mountain of God.” 7-6-09
Who led the exodus?
Moses
“Exodus, the liberation of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt in the 13th century bce, under the leadership of Moses; also, the Old Testament book of the same name.”
“Joshua was a major figure in the events of the Exodus. ... According to Joshua 1:1, God appointed Joshua to succeed Moses as leader of the Israelites along with giving him a blessing of invincibility during his lifetime. The first part of the book of Joshua covers the period when he led the conquest of Canaan.”
“[God] does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth [generation]. (Exodus 34:7b”
"God is warning his people that each generation will be held accountable if they repeat the sins of the previous generation."
"Yahweh, Yahweh — A God compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger, Abounding in loyal love and faithfulness. He maintains loyal love for thousands, Forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sins. But he won’t declare innocent the guilty. He will bring the iniquities of the fathers upon the third and the fourth.” (Exodus 34:6-7)
Summary:
So if God punishes the new generation for solely repeating the sins of their parents what are those sins. They are numerous. Think about it. You grew up in a family with a father and mother that are gossipers and say perhaps they are believers. Relatives gossiping on each other as I've experienced that growing up. Before you really come to know the true God you probably had some sort of part in that. But not only that. You might be going to what is called Stags before marriage and I have done so before I really was a true believer many years ago. I've seen call girls or what is called prostitutes entertaining the men and men getting drunk and involved. That is perpetual rebellious sin. Yet people fail to realize that and might even reason to themselves well Jesus paid the price anyways it's all paid for. God understands. Yeah! You see the foolishness. The lord Jesus warned about hell. And even in modern day it's so extensive and God tells us to have no part in the unfruitfulness of darkness.
So in an article I briefly read the fellow touched upon having to deal with the consequences of your family being your father and mother and your grandparents and how that translates, inspires and infiltrates/contaminates the grandchildren. And it's true and when you come to know the character of God or we can say the character of Jesus and how God would direct us in our lives then we can look back briefly and see our circle of repetitiveness in sins and not that we are to condemn each other but we can see a spider web that enslaves those generations to repeat those sins. How do you get out of it and break that net/mould or how do you get out of it and be born again? Exactly that. You have to put your faith in the Lord the biblical Jesus and his word. You have to change. You come to Christ. You give your life to Christ. You know when you are born again you are a new creature in Christ and all things are made new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 When you obey the true God your feet will be better treading on stable ground.
Ever hear that term talk is cheap. It is because you have to do it. Imagine reading an auto repair manual but you never learn how to physically repair an automobile. You know if you know scripture you will know there was a point when God was upset with the children/people of Israel and with their new moons and their celebrations of musical festivals. Why do you think so? They were slipping into uncharted territory. They weren't obeying now or perhaps their children were worshiping idols that seeped in. I'm not going to get into all the specifics in a huge study on that but the point is that obeying is important. Repent to perish.
