     It appears that this article is going to be very long. Please bear with me.

Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) used to have a saying in his TV show “I missed it by that much”. And then the audience at the network tapings of the show would laugh. But in real life it’s no laughing matter as the Bible tells us that people will wake up to be damned in shame. They will be sent to eternal hellfire. The lake of fire.       

               They say a picture is worth 1000 words. What is wrong with that picture above above. Strange days indeed!

We are living in very troubling times. Very evil times. Very ungodly times.  We would want nothing else but to be able to return just the good old fashion days of enjoyment. We are going back under lockdown here in Canada. Is your heart locked down with the Lord?  You remember those days when you can go to the beach or go on a vacation with excitement. When you can enjoy your day out with your friends laughing and being funny. When a relationship was a relationship. When there was hope in tomorrow. There is more than hope in the Lord. Today these are very troubling times. Even in the media there reports of stresses and perplexities among the nations and even among celebrities which of course include royalty. Somehow Stevie Wonders song “I just called to say I love you” came to mind one day. It’s not a gospel song but is a song about love and about thinking about others. Jesus said what reward have you if you only love those who love you. One of my parents once said to me that their mother said you respect only those who respect you. What gospel was she reading? You have to love your neighbour as yourself and if you love Christ Jesus then you keep his commandments. I know Ephesians 2:-2:9

These are troubling times for riots and I guess even though there are Plaques before us is it the calm before the storm? I guess people are sometimes-reminiscing while people are suffering in hospitals and on respirators. There are families and people in great misery. People are Sick and dying! but so many people are just Consumed with wickedness & blind worldliness in obtaining MORE material possessions. Sure many want healing but they refuse to repent and believe in the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. They just can’t get enough of the world of sin, flesh and the devil. Be merciful on me lord a sinner.

You see the way of the true Christ and the true gospel is very narrow. It’s so narrow it’s a cross. It’s not the way of the world at all. It’s easy to misconstrue things. 

Why would God allow this to happen? Why would you allow this to happen when you are swimming in your vomit of sins..(have nothing to do with the works of darkness ) Although people don’t believe it sin is a major problem. So many people are lost in the cares of deception in this life. Very few people are really grasping / thinking about where they are/will be going to spend eternity.  It’s either heaven or hell. So many are on the broad wrong road to destruction. It’s not easy when you’ve been deceived your entire life as so many people are.

Do you think it was easy for the apostles or for the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even for the martyrs of Jesus Christ. Not at all. Do you think they were storing up expensive sports cars, mansions on earth and all sorts of worldly possessions. Not at all. Yet they are in the kingdom of God. Heaven !!! Lazarus is comforted but what about you?

What can we do? We can pray. We can turn to Christ and submit our lives to him. Blessed are the poor for they shall inherit the earth. We can pick up the Bible and find interest in reading it. We can forgive others. We can make a commitment to walk the narrow walk. To obtain true biblical salvation. We can do Gods will instead of our own.

We can interest our self in the biblical truth. We must wake up.

Now to continue as I have come across an article that relates to what I was thinking when I wrote this today. I will first post an image or two. Perhaps people don’t really think as they should think of the people (medical officials ) seeing those people in emergency wards in hospitals dying. The article and the official in the news story talked about images of people dying held and not shown to the public. We do see images of grief of other people. But we also hear the testimonies of the people that recovered. Look at the image below..

There is an actual article and also a video that’s interesting. Can we really grasp the full force or the full effect that this pandemic has on human life. So many dead. So many that don’t believe that it’s really happening. It’s truly a sad day. There is an actual article and also a video that’s interesting.
