6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 6:35

 

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

 

George Harrison wrote a song what is life? Of course what he followed was not the truth but he had an idea because I listened to his interview about the spirit in the body once. He Questioned!  I heard him say in an interview what are we doing here in these bodies. Even John Lennon said that he didn't fear death because he thought of it as getting out of one car and into another. Heaven or hell. You just might be stepping into the lake of fire. John Lennon of course is the same person who said Christianity will shrink up and disappear. Then he wrote a song called imagine which I once learned to play until I really realized what it was saying. Imagine there's no heaven. Imagine there's no hell just peace as the implication of this song. Christ is the prince of real Everlasting External Peace. Heaven and earth will pass away but his words will never pass away. Of course unfortunately hell is a real place. I will note and give John Lennon credit for his peace campaign. He seem to have cared. He might not have believed the truth about Christ and have been deceived but something touched him about Vietnam. All those people who died in that war how tragic. Some people blame groups that are famous being both men and women for being a tool onto the devil and corrupting children being adults or young adults being teenagers and such. They are entertainers by profession. While John Lennon could be credited for what he did to bring peace and for really protesting for peace at the same time we can be hypocrites and deceive ourselves. You can’t serve two masters? What the biblical Lord Jesus Christ did on “The cross” at Calvary has extremely important and great significance. He is the prince of peace. And because he did what he did it’s only a matter of time until his REAL-kingdom comes forth and becomes everlasting. 

 

Getting back to George Harrison and his ideology about death. On the other hand George Harrison wrote an entire album on everything must pass. He had sort of winged unto the right idea but he just got the wrong principal. What did Jesus say? Let the dead bury the dead! Christ is risen in glory. God has a plan and God has a purpose for life. The Bible is true and the Lord Jesus Christ is risen. There’s no other name under heaven given in which men might be saved. In the beginning God. Jesus is the logos and he is the word of God. 

 

Then there is another artist Sting otherwise born is Gordon Sumner. He had an album called the Blue turtle and had a song free free set them free. If you love somebody set them free. Interesting album. Good sounding song. When some people try to hold on love by forcing it it can turns against you. Harrison had a song called what is love. Well Jesus defined love unlike any man on the face of the earth can. He gave his life as a ransom for many. True love is defined and blessed by God. But with Christ if the son has set you free you are free indeed. Now Sting was accused of fornication and a life of sin. It was written in some magazine that he fools around on his wife and she told him just don't bring it home. Hope that’s not false fake news reporting. He was scrutinized once by some reporter(s) saying that he lives a sinful life. There was reports that he had tantrum sex with his wife. These types of stars being in the limelight get written about/admired/worshipped even as sex idols. People refer to them as sexy. They are glorified by the world. Now Sting said once when he was younger in an interview that he's living a life and that he doesn’t have to go around punishing all his enemies as life has a way of doing that instead. So he implied he's living the life.  But you see the lord Jesus Christ said that kind of life brings death. It’s very superficial and God is no respect of persons. Simply put that type of life leads to destruction. 

 

You see when Jesus told Nicodemus a Pharisee who believed in him that a man must be born again or he cant enter into the kingdom of God that is the truth. See Nicodemus could not have understood what that meant at that time. That’s why Jesus said Marvel not that I said that. See they say if God doesn’t draw you then it’s impossible for you to come. The good news is the gospel. The good news is John 3:16. The good news is not to be taken the wrong way but with God all things are possible. But in a sense as I’ve heard it said before it’s conditional. It was conditional for the rich young ruler who loved the world and his riches too much to submit. 

If you look around and you ever studied history or was somebody who served in the war or who served his country in the army, navy or you’re a veteran than you know how wicked this world truly is. Sometimes I use to ask myself why in this way. Why would God create life as such. He does not think as a man think as his thoughts are not our thoughts nor his ways are our ways. Those things we consider highly appraised by men is nothing more than an abomination to the Lord.  The rebellion of the fall which has been multiplied is extremely great. Many have ears but they hear not. If they do hear at all they want to have their ears tickled. Sin leads to death. 3:44 am 03/13/2921

Who is Jesus anyways? Jesus  is the Jewish born messiah that came into the world for those who say that they can see to take away their sight and also can’t see to give them sight. If the son has set you free you are free indeed. As written the devil deceives the whole world. Jesus is the saviour of the world. 

 

Now as written in the word of God you are saved by grace through faith and not that of yourselves. It is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 But what else does the word of God say?

Aren’t you thankful for John 3:16.  God gave us grace through faith.

 

As written in the book of Deuteronomy 30:15-20 Kjv ; look what God instructed his people. As Christians we must understand.

 

15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

 

16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

 

17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

 

18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

 

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

 

20 That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

In basic conclusion..

 

So I challenge you today to ask yourselves if you die today would you truly go to heaven. Are you saved? Do you read the word of God? Have you cried out to God to save you. The word of God says seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open. Have you tried knocking? When was the last time you prayed? When was the last time you picked up a Bible and blew off the dust and read it. Time for you to know the God of the Bible. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Choose this day whom you will worship in your house. See the thing about the celebrity life is you become a custom to the world of sin, flesh and the devil and you drift farther and farther away. It’s time you wake up to the glory of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ before you wake up in the lake of fire where the worm never dies as the fires in never quenched. James 4.4 means precisely what is written. You cannot befriend the world. You will despise one and love the other. I know they say that certain things like secular music appeals to the flesh. It’s true. But many  things appeal to the flesh as well that people are ignorant to. In a sense you can’t be a Pharisee but at the same time you have to know whom your master is!

Written in Galatians 2:20

 

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Footnotes: The word of God says to condemn not. Luke 6:37  At the same time for true christians if you refuse to bear your cross you are not worthy of him. Timothy : rebuke with what? “Long suffering” not short suffering. Jesus was well acquainted with sorrow. He demonstrated faith when walking on water and the boat was sinking.   Turn the other cheek but you cannot serve two masters. I will leave you with this thought.. in Noah’s day it is said to be like today.. people were trying to serve two masters. Double minded at the same time.
