"Gather the wheat into my barn" don’t be THRUST OUT

Ecclesiastes 3:8

The Lord would be pleased to have you under his wing and to be a member of the body of Christ

Pondering the thought...

"how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!" (rejected)

Luke 13:34

King James Version

"34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!" (Christ)

Of course the biblical Lord Jesus Christ is referring to Jerusalem here. Look what he says they did as they killed the prophets and stoned those that were sent onto her/them by God. Perhaps there was some false prophets but there were many true prophets that they stoned to death. Why? I heard a teaching recently by Hal Lindsey in which he described the "Sanhedrin" who were assemblies of either twenty-three or seventy-one elders, who were appointed to sit as a tribunal in every city in the ancient Land of Israel. They had sent people out to question John the Baptist. See Luke 21:12

As even Hal made the point there was one amongst them who they didn't know. They ultimately rejected their own Messiah. What a carpenters son!  He was a man well acquainted with sorrow and was despised and rejected of men. Isaiah 53.3 The word of God says he had a face men looked away from yet he made Fishers of Men. (In him I am well pleased. Listen to him) : They heard a voice from heaven.

The biblical non pagan Jewish Jesus Christ is risen and he sits at the right hand of the father in Glory. He is the unblemished Lamb of God. 1 Peter 1:19

Now skipping to modern day. We have so many different types of Christians who claim to be believers. So many denominations. The word of God says the devil deceives the whole world. Either God is a liar or he is true. The word of God says let God be true and every man a liar. Romans 3:4 Christ was no liar. He even said himself in scripture as it is written that he saw Satan fall from Heaven as Lightning. Satan is real just as fallen angels are real. In scripture Christ called the Pharisees particularly that they “are/were” hypocrites. Can you befriend the world and follow the true biblical Jesus Christ? Many so-called claiming to be Christians follow the world and various forms of “Christs” far removed from the gospel teachings and whom he truly was and perhaps even is in his risen state. You can't serve two masters. I've known many of those claiming to be Christians who really are not and they are hypocrites as they embrace the world and can't get enough. Of course they have been LED astray. The word of God says if the blind lead the blind both will fall into a ditch. And if you think that God doesn't know that they are deceived he does know. He even tells us in his word that he gave them over to a reprobate mind that they might believe the lie. Romans 1:27-29 They don't love the truth and they deceive their own hearts. The word of God says when people come to repentance Angels sing & rejoice in heaven. Praise the lord. How often would the Lord have desired/wanted to gather these people under his wing and have them truly obtain biblical salvation. Have them as wheat in his barn. See the conundrum. See the analogy. (A comparison between two things). The word of God says salvation is of the Lord. The Messiah said to repent and believe in the gospel. What gospel? The Gospel of Jesus Christ. He also said that those who don't carry / refuse to carry/bear their cross are not worthy of him. Modern-day biblical  Christians might argue that they are not saved by works. He did it all on the cross. In essence it is true he did it all and he paid the price in full. When preachers are assaulted preaching the word of God as even Street Preachers are many times they're preaching and bearing their cross. I send you out amongst wolves. Sanctify them by thy truth. Thy word is truth. How it feels heavy even on my heart to know that so many people are deceived and are going to perish because they have not received a love of the truth. God's word says they be damned and could have been saved but they did not love the truth. (2 Thessalonians 2:10).  No one is promised another day as the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel. Next time you see a Street Preacher preaching the word of God or you see somebody administering the word of God don't rebel but “think”of your salvation. Jesus said people search the scriptures for in then they perceive that they have eternal life. John 5:39  Salvation is of the Lord. You Must Believe in Christ’s death burial and Resurrection. 1 corinthians 15 You need to believe the gospel.

 

Now we can get into a whole analogy why Jerusalem killed & stoned the prophets. That is not the just point of this particular topic I was getting into today. It's very interesting though. 

 

The word of God says that God doesn't want/desire anybody to perish. 2 Peter 3

 

The Lord made fishers out of men to turn people/sinners from Satan on to God and then they can obtain true biblical salvation. 

It's a strait gate. The choice is theirs. Many are called and few are chosen. Matthew 22:14

 

In John 15:18-19 Jesus once said that the world hated him before it hated “you”. In fact if the world loves you that is not a good sign at all. Remember James 4:4 that it is enmity with God to befriend the world.

"18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

 

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

 

If you were of the world the world would love you. Didn't he say that you are to be in the world but not of the world. When he the Messiah prayed a prayer for the disciples or the apostles he said he never lost anything that was given to him being anyone but the son of perdition which I believe was Judas Iscariot. John 17:6-26  I don't think Christ /God wants to lose those who would have otherwise believed in him. Jesus prayed that they not be taken out of the world but that they be protected from the evil one.  The Bible says there will be gnashing of teeth and crying on Judgement Day as some people are Thrust out of his kingdom and will never enter in. See people need to take their salvation seriously. Christ has come to give the blind sight. You have to make him Jesus the Lord and savior of your lives. You must know who he truly is risen and truly was on earth. The devil deceives the whole world.

 

 

As written in Matthew 13:30 "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." Warning: Tares go to hell!

 

If you don't turn to true biblical salvation you may be amongst those with weeping and gnashing of teeth. What will it profit you to gain the whole world and to perish. Sanctify them by thy truth. Thy word is truth. Are you going to be amongst the Wheat or amongst the Tars? The Lord would be pleased to have you under his wing and to be a member of the body of Christ but you got to reach out for that life line. Salvation is of the Lord. Do you even care about your Eternal Salvation. (Your eternal destination).

I challenge you to pray and to read the Bible and to cry out to God to save you. Give your lives to Christ!
