Cast out the beam in your own eye first

Pondering: “Narrow is the way that leads to life.”

In the King James Version of the Bible the 5 text reads: "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which. leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

Matthew 7:13-14

King James Version

“13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:”

“14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

And that particular verse in scripture is speaking about judgement. It's speaking about judging others. Look at the line that it opens with. "Judge not that ye be judged".  Then it gets right into with what judgment you/people judge they shall be judged and with what measure that person will measure it shall be measured back to them. Wasn't it Newton that said for every action there is a reaction.

Before I get into the rest of the verse I think I find it interesting that just today I was watching a video of pasture Justin Peters interviewing another fellow in conjunction to Grace to you Church Ministries in which John MacArthur pastures and spent years doing so. Apparently John MacArthur was being questioned by various people and compared to living the luxurious lifestyle that rock stars or “Mega” pastors live. So I watched most of the interview and I found it interesting. Not sure you can compare John MacArthur with such prosperity preachers who live the luxurious lifestyle of celebrities. I think somebody like John MacArthur has great responsibility for all the people that they/he administers to. They do have a job. I am aware of the corporate side of things. As far as me judging him I'm not going to today. I think there's people that need salvation & need to hear about Christ. I will say during this pandemic which is a trial and tribulation people should draw closer to God. Wasn't it Apostle Peter who said trials are valuable.

Okay the rest of the verse. Basically you/people judging wrongly have to cast out the beam in your/their own eyes before they can open the eyes of others. Particularly  in this verse Christ speaks of your brother. Don't be a hypocrite and first cast out the blindness or ignorance out of your own eye and then you'll see clearly and you will be/should be able to open other people's eyes as well. Not only does the beam have to come out but you need wisdom in order to make/apply the correct action judgement application to open other blind peoples eyes.

Example: Some Christians might think that some vicious reactionary people find “Salvation” right there and then. Why did you preach so hard to them? I've heard it before when I have explained myself and I've come across a great offender. Some people are so vicious that they won't/refuse as a mule to open their eyes. It's going to take the right approach and time for some people to see. Some people will pass-on without ever seeing and are greatly deceived. Look how the last verse in the book if Mathew 7 closes.

"Give not that which is holy unto dogs, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and rent you.". That is written in Matthew 7:6

Ever see a spoiled brat trample their feet!

I've experienced that personally. There are some people so vicious and so far removed from true righteousness/holiness and these people will trample over those things that are holy concerning God or the gospel. Such people may maintain a job and are very worldly. They may even be tough but broken and soft at times. Didn't Christ say that people didn't leave home for his cause or the gospels cause. I think you have to leave home and tend to other people that need salvation and need to be preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are some people that are like wolves. The dog has returned to his own vomit. These people may even say they are Christians and claim they are believers. But the general point is such people are far removed from his / Christ's cause and they will trample you and make a mockery of those things Holy. They may actually do nice things too sometimes but you can't speak to them about the gospel. That's not their prerogative.

Don't condemn. Preach the gospel. But before you condemn look within. Jesus said he’s not judging you but he said there is one who does.

Psalm 1:2-3 “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

(Seek first his righteousness)
Concerning Ravi Zacharias as I’ve read and seen videos about a scandal to do with fornication. He passed on and he’s not here to defend himself. But his ministry is still here. Hypocrites! We are not saved by works remember something that you stick too with vengeance. It’s not about our performance. (remember) Didn’t he die being a member of the body of Christ. Those without sin cast the first stone. Didn’t the messiah say to let the dead bury the dead. Luke 9:60

Before you condemn look within
