The feast of hypocrites

The feast of hypocrites. Which will you attend?

The wine as many over indulge as they think Christ was a wine binger as he was accused. People are abundantly wicked and think the Lord is embracing such things as alcohol is acceptable are greatly deceived.

Righteousness, mercy and grace and especially faith are embraced by true believers as is the word as people should know.

You've heard it said give onto the Lord what is thy Lords and render/give to Caesar what is Caesar's. I will emphasize this later in more depth

A couple of important points I came across. I like the way they worded these two biblical reference points.

Biblical reference #1

"Jesus first called them hypocrites, and then asked one of them to produce a Roman coin that would be suitable for paying Caesar's tax. ... They answered, "Caesar's," and he responded: "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's". Didn't the Beatles write a song called taxman. The tax is rendered unto Caesars. You cannot serve God and Mammon. Salvation is not of Satan but of the Lord.

Biblical reference #2

“The mark on the coin is that of Caesar; it is the mark of his property. Therefore give Caesar this money; it is his. ... Let us not forget that money, for Jesus, is the domain of Mammon, a satanic domain! (Ammon Hennacy interpreted Matthew 22:21 slightly differently.)”

There are two descriptions above about this biblical passage in the Book of Matthew. They were trying to trap the Lord being Jesus Christ the Jewish non-pagan Messiah. Christ called them a derogatory name being hypocrites or in modern days they may be likened too / associated as World Sucking hypocrites. I will talk about this passage in the book of Matthew more in depth.

Just look at the scripture in the book of Matthew 22:6-8

6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

First off what is a remnant? A small remaining piece of something. The Bible says God has a Remnant people whom keep his Commandments. Isaiah 1:9 What cities did God once destroy? Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot was instructed to take his family out of that wicked place/city but lots wife looked back. She became a pillar of salt. Was she a hypocrite for looking back? Luke 9:62

Marvel not that I said you must be born again. (Christ to Nicodemus)

As biblical Christians or even born again Christians we can draw a conclusion that there will be a wedding feast of the lamb. (The marriage supper of the lamb ). Revelation  19:6-9 This will be a wedding of honour, and holiness. God will wipe away all tears as it is written. Those who did not repent and who were murders or should we say evil doers shall be unworthy and shall perish. God will avenge the remnant. Rev 17/18 God will avenge his people. You have to put your faith in the Lord who is not slack to what he says in his word.

Just look at Matthew 22:16. So what does it says that God is not a respector of in scripture ? "person". Just to draw from Matthew 22:16 it seems to make that very point.

Matthew 22:16 “And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: "for thou regardest not the person of men." See Acts 10:34

You see the truth is that the biblical lord Jesus Christ the messiah was not embracing or promoting alcohol or the drinking there-of. He was not promoting expensive Hollywood style weddings. He was promoting and relaying a message or a story being a parable about the wedding feast with the lamb of God.  (The marriage supper of the lamb ).

Take men's greatest celebration as you would have today with say a bottle of wine that may cost $15,000 and a wedding perhaps costing in the hundreds of thousands. What is wrong with this feast of evil:?Drunkards/evil doers that are rebellious hypocrites at such a celebrations. Their celebration will become desolate. Such who in turn whom practice unrighteousness is the wrong celebration that leads to damnation. That celebration will/would be burnt crumbs or become nothing compared to the wedding feast of the lamb of the bride of Christ. (Marriage supper) Money can't buy it and the greatest alcoholic beverage in the world can not embrace the Holy Godly feast of all feasts. Think of your greatest celebration and it will be minut/nothing onto this celebration. That's one point. Another point the gospel makes known/clear when somebody comes to the Lord or comes to their senses or peace of mind in not abusing their life in living sinful (getting truly saved) serve the lord that's another celebration of eternal joy. Remember James 4.4 Doesn't the Bible say angels rejoice when a soul repents. Luke 15:10 But there is another passage in the same book of Matthew or another verse I should say that caught my attention. Now when we get to Matthew 22 17-21 the Lord gets offended because look what it says as they try to trap him. See “he perceived” their wickedness. He referred to them as hypocrites and accused them of trying to trap him. They were tempting him. Matthew 4:7 Where does temptation come from?

Read..

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus "perceived their wickedness", and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Satan is concerned with those things that be of men but the Lord is concerned with those things that be of God and not of men. In fact the gospel says that those things that men highly asteem or praise are nothing more than an abomination onto the Lord. What was Caesar's? Well who is your God? Taxes/Money! Is the Messiah your saviour/God Is it Caesar? The gospel says that Christ had nowhere to lay his head. He was rejected & despised of men, a man well acquaintate with sorrow. He said himself a prophet is not welcome in his own hometown.

Of course the book of Matthew is detailed and talks about marriage and the resurrection of the dead. This book is incredibly in depth & detailed and teaches substance. Just look what it says in Matthew 22 : 32-33 God tells us exactly whom he is.

32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

The Lord told us who God is. He is also the God of the Bible (66 books) and the God of Israel. However he said he is not the god of the Dead.

33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

Whose doctrine were they astonish by/at? The word of God. Some people honor him with their lips but their hearts are far from him. Some people keep their own traditions making to none effect the word of the Lord. In the commandments it is written thou shall have no other gods before me and to not make graven images. Like the gospel also tells us that the devil attempts to change the appointed times and those things that be of God. Greater is he that is in you than in the world if you are a Christian and you are a true believer. In the beginning was the word and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The logos. The alpha and the Omega. The first and the last. Heaven and earth will pass away but my word will never pass away.  What is the overall point? There will be a wedding and it will be the wedding that will be the greatest wedding that ever took place in the history of mankind if men/woman can even perceive this.  Every tear will be wiped away. Give onto God what is God's. Christ purchased you with a great price as he paid on that cross and that was paid in full. You are not your own. You were purchased. Who is your Messiah? Who is your God? Whom do you give Glory to? Is it the praise of men or is it onto the Lord. As Christ himself said the kingdom of God is at hand. He said repent and believe in the gospel.

This is what you truly give God : honor, praise and worship. You Shall Serve the Lord and only the Lord shall you serve.

I love this passage of Matthew in Matthew 22:36-38 as it spelled out.

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

Beloved give your life to Christ. The greatest commandment is Matthew 22:37. That is what you give to the Lord. Don’t be a hypocrite and be at the wrong feast being a feast of hypocrites. Salvation is of the Lord.

12.21 noon 2.21 / 3:44 pm this afternoon

Footnotes: Who is the king of kings? The Messiah was Jewish when he walked the earth and he is the unblemished lamb of God. He is the king of all kings. He alone is the anointed one. The angels will be instructed to reap the harvest. That is the tars will be separated that grew amongst the wheat. Those not worthy will be cast into the lake of fire. As is written in Revelation 19:12-15 The armies that are in heaven followed Christ. Out of the kings mouth goes a sharp sword being the word of God. With that word and rod of iron he shall smite the nations.  “And he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” The begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary  Don’t be a hypocrite and be at the wrong feast being a feast of hypocrites.
