Let no man separate what God has joined together
It’s not easy to accept the truth. Not everybody in their life can acknowledge the truth. That is the truth that comes with the cross. It’s going to be a horrible experience for people to get to eternity and find out they lived a lie when they were hard rock solid on rejecting the true biblical truth let alone understanding the truth. So many people are submitted to the world of deception but not the true God. So many men would rather watch the football game than truly show their wife true righteous love found in Christ Jesus.
The Bible Defines Marriage as a Covenant. God sketched his original plan for marriage in Genesis 2:24 when one man (Adam) and one woman (Eve) united together to become one flesh: Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
(Genesis 2:24, Kjv) Jun. 25, 2019
Mark 10:9 "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Let not that which has been joined together by God be parted by man. If men/woman seek out married women/men sanctified by God can you imagine the hell price to pay. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Mark 10 -The chapter is mainly about divorce. About divorcing your wife. Is it lawful to divorce your wife? The answer is no. Moses "suffered"/ gave them a bill of divorcement in essence because their hearts were hardened. You might say in human analogy that they don't love each other anymore. One woman once told me that people grow apart. God is all knowing and it is the heart that is abundantly wicked. The worldly heart being the sinful heart and such a wicked heart does not submit to the gospel and to the Lord is in danger probably of the fires of hell.
As Christ said about divorce and Moses law.
“For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.". Of course the gospel says that sexual fornication is grounds for separation and most likely divorce although God does not like divorce. That is the only grounds mainly or is a major one that the gospel focuses on. There are other grounds of course but you would have to seek prayer and it also depends if you are a child of God or a child of the deception/devil. Are you saved and are you a true believer. Godly biblical marriage is when two people are joined as one flesh. Such people should have a prayer life and should seek God's face. Such people should pray together and serve the Lord. They would worship the Lord together and raise their kids as biblical believers in Christ.
Godly marriage is only between a man and a woman. Such people should be believers in the Biblical Lord Jesus Christ or the only God that ever existed. His Biblical memorial name is Yahweh. That would be helpful. But same sex marriages are an abomination on-to the Lord and punishable by damnation/hell fire when a person fails to repent in their lifetime on earth. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Look what Christ said himself.
Mark 10:6 “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder
Now the chapter 10 of Mark is incredible and detailed. You see the disciples even asked the Lord later apart from where they were in Mark 10 basically the same question & look with the Lord said.
Mark 10:11 “And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”
The rest of the chapter supports the viewpoint of God. But we're not here to talk about the rest of the chapter. We're here to talk about what God has joined together let no man separate. Many people marry even same sex couples and say God has join them together. The true God is holy and his word is truth. Are you sure that everybody that gets married none biblical but has some ceremony and make it look like God approves of this are not committing fornication. Probably an abomination onto the Lord. God is not mocked. This is not marriage. I am sure that if a man and woman got married and say one was a believer and one was not it's “possible” that through the believer God can turn the other one onto God. But it may not be that easy as it seems. But if two people are joined together none Biblical and they never believe in God or even Christ that is not marriage joined by God. They can still come to believe. If people aren't led by the Spirit of God and just choose anybody and think that is marriage approved by God they might be fooling themselves in that God joined them together. You need to pray and submit yourself to the gospel / The biblical lord Jesus Christ and to the purposes of the Lord in marriage.
If you are a believer and you are contemplating marriage you pray and you ask God to lead your life into marriage when the time comes. When is the right time. You don't rush into it and you can't/shouldn’t follow your friends to bars and indulge in all forms of worldliness. If you do this you're going to live a life of deception and a life of sin. You need to be sanctified through thy truth. The gospel says thy word is truth. John 17.17
I met a woman once who told me she was worldly and she was the modern woman. I was young, stupid and foolish. I didn't understand what she truly was telling me. Over time I open my eyes the hard way. Not that I was perfect. And you would want good for everyone but God's way is a very straight narrow exclusive path/way. Mark 7:14 What I always remember is when Christ said he gave that blind man his eyesight back and that he came into the world to open the eyes of those who can’t see. Not just physically but spiritually.
You can want something to be true and you can wish it to be true or you can get a good luck charm and hope that works but that won't work. The only thing that will work is prayer, repentance and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Submission to God himself and the glory of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in marriage.
You know I am truly convinced or acknowledge that some people are married out of convenience. Some people have a sugar daddy as known in modern times. With their needs be met as we know from providing some sort of escort service or sexual pleasure. People play house. The actor plays the part ”Shakespeare“. This is not marriage as this is an abomination until the Lord. Nothing under the sun will make this marriage. That light is a rebellious spirit of the world and does not come from God but from the world. Christ said to repent and believe in the gospel. He even went further to say or you will all likewise perish.
Choose this day who you will worship in your house. Don't you know you are the temple of the Holy spirit that is within you. You are not your own and you are purchased with a mighty price. Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.
You see marriage is a very serious thing to God. Sin is a travesty. Unbiblical marriage is a travesty. So you might say please clarify. “A false, absurd, or distorted representation of something”. Remember God is Holy. That is just something man/woman strives to understand in his/her wildest imaginations and such can't grip what this really means. We can try to understand it as we do as Christians but we fall short. We have to seek the righteousness of the biblical Lord Jesus Christ.
Now later in the gospel the Apostles or disciples asked the Lord will people marry in God's kingdom. Matthew 22:30 No. They won’t be taking in marriage. They will be as angels of God in heaven.
You know I am always reminded John 10:10 the thief comes but to Rob to steal and to kill. Christ has come that you would have life in abundance. Two become one flesh.
I am aware of John 3:16 David sinned; was a man after gods own heart.
1 Sam. 13:14, KJV). Do you want to please the Lord. What about you?
Now he said you have to be like little children innocent before the Lord. That means that you are not lawless. Worker of iniquity I never knew you. Before-warned and work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Let those who could hear the truth - let them hear.
Ephesians 5:25 - 5:30
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
