The dispute over circumcision
Probably the best description of Judaizers is in Acts 15:1: "And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, and said, 'Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
Of course we know that this is false because we are not saved by the works of the law but by grace through faith and not the work of the law. Ephesians 2:8-9 Do you know a lot of people want to hear good and faithful servant. Yes I said the word servant. The Lord throughout time has many different servants. People want to please the Lord as David did. Proverbs 16:7 Now Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments. If we were under the law you would be condemned because it’s impossible for you to keep the law perfectly. Thank God that he gave us grace through faith. Doesn’t mean that you should go out of the way to Sin. Because the gospel says those that are born of God have ceased from sin. If you are a new creation in Christ should you be swearing? There are many false Converts. Or certain deceived converts. There will be fruits of your conversion. But you’re also like an apprentice if you are a newborn Christian. Even apostle Paul said there is no good in his flesh. We are not under the law but saved by grace through faith. It is the gift of God that no man can boast.
