34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.  

 

What other man that ever lived but the son of God whom said these words. He is truly a king but not only that he has the heart above all hearts. He was rejected and despised of men and yet he is the only begotten son of God. He raised people from the dead and healed countless people. Yet he was despised and rejected by even his very own. He said a prophet is not welcomed in his own home town. Incredible.

 

You see there is a profound reason that he said to turn your other cheek. That doesn't mean that preachers are not to preach a solid non lukewarm gospel. But there is a time for everything. You see he even said if you don't forgive others your heavenly father will not forgive you. If you're an unbeliever then your "heavenly father" you you don't recognize nor know and he is not the true God but devils are your father.

 

Then on top of this he said blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the earth. Seek first the kingdom of God and everything else will be added on to you. Many people are in the camp of the devil. You see you can't serve two masters. But that is precisely what countless people do and many do this ignorantly in even doing it.

 

Now its not easy to follow and enter in at the straight gate. Its rather difficult because we like the praise of men but the lord Jesus said there has not been one greater than John the baptist and the least will be first in his kingdom. 

 

The irony is that fallen Angels rebelled as did man. Only by his blood shed on the cross are our sins forgiven. By his striped are we healed.

 

1 Peter 2:24 kjv

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

 

We have to have our faith rooted in him. The world loved darkness and men refuse to come to the light because their sins will be exposed/reproved. Either way the true God knows the thoughts of men just as he did in Noah's day. So we can see societies today fighting for and against the things that be of God.  

 

Even though there appears to be a grace period that will expire eventually. What does a holy God think? The seven seals being open and the great day of the lord including the flood and Sodom and Gomorrah tells us a lot. 

 

Do we really not know what we do? When it comes to truly believing and not having that seed snatched away yes there is a war inside of a person to attach themselves to filth of sin.

 

Revelation 7:13

Where are your treasures ?

Notes: He will test with fire men’s works and reward those he pleases. You can only bring treasures stored up in heaven with you. Man y people are lost in the defiled world that is Godless and expects in. What will it profit YOU to gain the world and perish. The heart is abundantly wicked. You Must be born again.
