The blind man - Spiritual blindness

2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version

⁴ In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

A reading from the book of John. Spiritual blindness is more tragic than physical blindness. A Testimony only possible by one Born blind. This is a great lesson. And we can relate this to other professions other than religious leaders. Many people are blind in many ways. There are so many blind spots in life. And so I came across a pamphlet about the book of John one day and I decided to read parts of it. You know the word of God says seek and you will find. Many people seek all their lives and they find something that they think is the truth when it is not. Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away. He told many parables and he said it is given some to understand and others not to be able to perceive. I recommend the King James Bible.

 

 

Did you know some people might have blind faith. I mean you can have loads of faith but it’s the lord Jesus who said a mustard seed of faith can move mountains. I mean you can have faith that you’re going to get a paycheque from your employer and you can’t expect what you didn’t earn especially if you were always late for work. But blindness when it comes to the real God is as a man/woman void of spiritual sight. Void of true relationship with God. Even Abraham was once blind. Of course there are those who think they understand/see but they’ve always been blind, naked and ratchet. Some of these people don’t think so. Some people see life as one big party. Some people perceive life as ABC. God is looking for people to turn away from sin and to truly get biblical saved. But many people refuse to see and also refuse correction. Many people think they are smarter than other people when they are naked, blind and wicked. You don’t go to heaven by being good. That means your good works will not get you in. You must be born again. You would be better off repenting of your sins and calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. You require a relationship with the Lord. Follow that up by prayer and reading the gospel.

And so from personal experience as well as experience being a true Christian I came across the book of John pamphlet one day and this is that reading.

Book thoughts:

I didn’t know how I would get over all those hurdles and connect the dots. There are lots. Follow the dotted line/leap of faith. Can a man put his faith in a lie? Can blind faith save a man ??
