Rebellious scoffers and mockers in the last days

Here are some titles I thought for this blog besides what I chose: Extinguishing the flames of sin, Scoffers walking after their own lust in the last days: Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 

 

I also thought about the Prosperity Gospel, Hollywood, celebrities, travel. Do you know that old Moto if it feels good do it. 

And I would like to write about the love of God. He sent his only begotten son into the world to save the world. That’s love. But the reality of hell is devastating. When Jesus said repent or perish that is harsh and direct. When Jesus said to the Pharisees how could you escape dam-nation that is harsh. But he didn’t say they would all be eternally damned. They denied their own Messiah. 

 

 

 Scoffers walking after their own lusts is exactly what exists. That is addressed as written in the word of God about the last days. Sure there could be debate and people scoff and say this isn't the last days. But we have scoffers of many different types. We have scoffers that are bisexuals, homosexuals and what is referred to as transgender. Then we have scoffers that are more in tune with atheism and when Satan comes and snatches the seed away from some just like the Lord Jesus said such people embrace the opportunity with vigour and scoff and mock. They believe in themselves. They think they are just some freak accident from nature. And they may reason all of this came about of its own order and account. Impossible.. It came out of disorder?? Now sure some of them will debate such things but that's not the essence of this writing synopsis alone. You know prior to the pandemic preachers were preaching the word of God and warning such people described herein. Even all other sinners. The word of God tells us to warn sinners with the preaching of the word about their transgressions. We are also to warn people of the coming judgment.

 

Can a fireman put out the Flames of hell? Jesus said it burns on un-quenched.There's one man that died on the cross at Calvary so that people can be saved. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16. As written the way is narrow and its a straight gate.

 

Of course there is a cut-off point. Think about it if the rich man ended up in hell and the word of God tells us that some people will wake up to damnation what makes you think that you won't end up in hell. If God didn't spare angels as the Apostle Peter said what makes you think that he will spare you. Jesus said repent or you will all likewise perish. Remember that.

2 Peter 3:3

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.. 

That’s exactly what exists.

This demonstrates God‘s judgement. It’s God who appoints Kings. How?

 Who can council God? 

1 Samuel 15:23

23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

 

Before warned!!! 

2 Peter 2:4

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

 

Thessalonians 2:3

The falling away is HERE!!!

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

This next verse is exactly what we see..

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

 

Here is the word of God that is precisely the truth.

Romans 1:21-27

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

So what are we to make of this? Is this the last days? Is God so loving that he overlooks sin? Is hell a man-made invention? Gods word says to sanctify them by thy word. Thy word is truth. What will it profit such people to be rebellious and mock and scoff only then too find themselves in hell one day. 12:44 am May 13, 2021

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. 

How can you remain undefiled before God if you indulge in spiritual fornication and befriend the world? So many are deceived and don’t live the true Christian life in Christ. So many hypocrites. So many live a counterfeit life of lies and deception. The dog has returned to his own vomit!

We preach the word so you can have real life in Jesus Christ. Salvation is of the Lord. Turn from sin and get yourself saved

You need a new heart and only God can give it.
