FLEE FORNICATION
1 Corinthians 6-12-20 kjv
So the true believers body is a temple. Many people have trouble with fornication. I read (testimonies ) of them true Christians that have trouble with fornication in terms of pornography. Obviously God takes this serious just as Paul has explained in his epistle to the Corinthians. You have it in you to overcome. Sure your brothers and sisters in Christ should be praying for you. But you need to renew your mind and set them on things from above. We can talk about faith but there needs to be determination and a will to obey. You also need a refreshing course to let you know just what God thinks about fornication. Sodom and Gomorrah are good examples of God's thoughts on such. But it goes further than that as your bodies are a temple of the Holy Ghost and paid for by Christ. God owns your body. Husband and wife become one flesh. If you're serving two masters then it's going to be easy for you to stray. If you’re indulging in the world and making excuses that just Undermines the purpose. You need to be under the blood and your mind needs to be set on things from above. Christ told the prostitute go and sin no more. It is true that if you’re not saved and you die in your sins you will face a very hard and embarrassing judgment.

12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
He that commits fornication sins against his own body. Him or her. The lord Jesus said that sin leads to Death. Choose life. We can't take members of Christ and make the members of a harlot. Therefore flee fornication. When should you flee fornication? Every time. Always.
Hell is real. If anybody tells you Hell is not real then they obviously don’t know the Lord.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
I shall remind you as it is written let God be true and everyman a liar. Now imagine the day of judgement when you find out that you were lied to and that Hell is real. Now you’re going to spend eternity away from the true eternal holy God. Take your salvation seriously and get saved. Turn from sin today. Repent of sin.
Some advice:
If you notice Romans 13:8-14 it tells us to love people fulfils the law. This is the New Testament. I see it tells us to not make provisions for the flesh. What de-files a man is what comes out of his mouth. But don’t fulfil the lust of the flesh. How do you overcome this? How can a brother or sister in Christ truly overcome this. Prayer and not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. Be married. Think of abortions and how that mentality gets people there to abort/murder unborn babies. Christ said to deny yourselves. Don’t be selfish. Renew your mind. Help (1) Be enslaved to nothing. Read the bible. Meditate on it day and night. Put your mind on things from above. Remind yourself of hell. Obey the lord. Do not follow the world. Ask other brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for you. Take your mind off images. Do not drink alcohol. Do his will not yours. Worship God. Make sure you fast. Deny yourselves. If you have the love of the world you don’t have the love of the father. The Bible says to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. If your right hand causes you to sin cut it off as Christ said. Don’t stack up sins! It’s not easy but you have the power to overcome. The devil has been sinning since the beginning. Should you join him? How could you glorify God in profanity if you can’t obey him. And it’s not an easy thing. If it happens repent of it ASAP. You have it in you to do it.

You can gain the whole world and Perish. But to die to self is always gain. You might not think so and you might find pleasure in sin/lust/temptation. Reasonable service. What part of the word of God don’t you understand?

We need to understand the severity of sexual sin and the thoughts thereof. We need to overcome. Don’t let anybody tell you that this is easy. But know that it is possible and it’s important. Fornication in essence is sleeping with people outside of marriage. That is one definition. I believe we need to acknowledge the words of the Lord and the importance there of. If anybody says they are without sin then they are liars. At the same time we should meditate on the word of God day and night. Our thoughts should align with his thoughts. Our actions should be of righteousness.
Why is fornication a sin against the body?
But fornication, involving as it does a community of life, is a sin against the body-itself, because incompatible, as the Apostle had just taught, with the design of its creation, and with its immortal destiny.”
What does God say about fornication?
In Matthew 15:8-19, Jesus said, "Out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, of murder, adultery, and fornication, things that defile a person." Paul also warns that fornication is a sin against your body in 1 Corinthians 6:18, urging believers to flee from it. Oct 1, 2020

Jesus Teaches About Sexual Sin
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You must not be guilty of adultery.’[a] 28 But I tell you that if anyone looks at a woman and wants to sin sexually with her, in his mind he has already done that sin with the woman. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, take it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell. 30 If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
Christ is talking about the severity of hell. So God takes it serious and so should we as brothers and sisters in Christ. Brothers and sisters in Christ should be helping each other overcoming this and should be praying for each other.
Jesus Teaches About Divorce
31 “It was also said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a written divorce paper.’[b] 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife forces her to be guilty of adultery. The only reason for a man to divorce his wife is if she has sexual relations with another man. And anyone who marries that divorced woman is guilty of adultery.
Sexual relations with somebody outside of marriage is worthy of divorce. They become one flesh together. So you might understand why this is wicked sin and it breaks the bond between them and their God. (Serious)
Make Promises Carefully
33 “You have heard that it was said to our people long ago, ‘Don’t break your promises, but keep the promises you make to the Lord.’[c] 34 But I tell you, never swear an oath. Don’t swear an oath using the name of heaven, because heaven is God’s throne. 35 Don’t swear an oath using the name of the earth, because the earth belongs to God. Don’t swear an oath using the name of Jerusalem, because that is the city of the great King. 36 Don’t even swear by your own head, because you cannot make one hair on your head become white or black. 37 Say only yes if you mean yes, and no if you mean no. If you say more than yes or no, it is from the Evil One.
As written man will not live on bread and water alone but by every idle word that proceeds fourth out of the mouth of God. We are created in his image. As the lord Jesus said what defiles a man is not what goes in him but what comes out of him. All sorts of defilements comes out. Swearing, taking the name of God in vain, & all sorts of evil & wicked thoughts. When you swear an oath and if you put your hand on the Bible as politicians DO / even people in the court room DO and then continue to lie look what they are doing as made known by the lord/in scripture. What it says in Matthew 5:33. Yes must be Yes and No must be No. Anything outside of that truth comes from the evil one. We could bend the truth but in Gods eyes he sees it exactly as it is. Unforgiven and unsaved sinners will give a full accounting on the day of judgment. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Don’t Fight Back
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’[d] 39 But I tell you, don’t stand up against an evil person. If someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other cheek also. 40 If someone wants to sue you in court and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. 41 If someone forces you to go with him one mile, go with him two miles. 42 If a person asks you for something, give it to him. Don’t refuse to give to someone who wants to borrow from you.
Preaching is one thing but denying ourselves is yet another. In the end its a holy God whom is the ultimate judge. There are times people are going to have to point out wrong doing. The Bible says confess your sins one to another. Sometimes a citizen or a police officer is going to have to stop any evil person from robbing someplace. That’s not just the implication of this verse. How could you glorify God if you can’t do as he says.
As Christians or even street preachers or pastures such people are teachers / Christians / believers and as written teachers will undergo a stricter judgment. There are times of discrepancies. There are times when one is going to be bold. We have to pray for each other. Jesus said love covers many sins. But for somebody who is saved and who has come to know the Lord it’s a serious matter. We have to seek his righteousness. We can’t go it/do it alone. There is not even one who is good in the eyes of the Lord. Give thanks and praise every day if you are under the blood and your sins are covered. God is faithful and so should “we” be.
Love All People
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[e] and hate your enemies.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.[f] 45 If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong. 46 If you love only the people who love you, you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors do that. 47 And if you are nice only to your friends, you are no better than other people. Even those who don’t know God are nice to their friends. 48 So you must be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
The thing in Christianity being biblical Christianity is people will say or other brothers and sisters in Christ may say or imply that doing any of this is trying to earn your salvation. You know a brother in Christ talked about the other day regarding the parable about the seeds. He gave us those teachings for a profound reason so we would understand scripture and we would understand the way of the Lord. This way we are also being shown how to renew our mind in essence. We should be thankful. We should care.
