You reap what you sow

Is it true you reap what you sow? Yes! You eventually have to face the consequences of your actions. Sin will find you out! In "The first Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians" 2, 1-12 which is profound Paul recalls his conduct regarding the church of the Thessalonians and its people. The labor was done in faith and love of the gospel. They were loved by Paul & others with a sincere heart. 

See, the Apostle Paul was a real Apostle and he warned people of their idols and falling away as he traveled preaching in his ministry and years of service for God on behalf of the lord Jesus Christ. He told people hopefully they did not believe in vain.

So now in this particular reading of the gospel the humbled Paul says, 
"for yourselves brethren and know our entrance in onto you that it was not in vain. But even after that we had suffered before and were shamefully en-treated as ye know at Philippi we were bold in our God to speak unto the gospel of God with contention. For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanliness, nor of guile. But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel even so we speak not as pleasing men but God which trieth our hearts."  See Gods know the hearts of men!!!

Paul is saying God trusted them (Paul, Silvanus & Timotheus with the gospel. When preached they don't do it to please men and they don't preach it in deceit.  And it appears they were not treated to well but non the less they preached in honor of their God being the God of Israel or the God of the bible. Then in Thessalonians 2.5 Paul even goes on to say neither at any time was flattery used to please men. You know Christ said he sends his laborers being his disciples out among-st wolves to preach the gospel and that's exactly what they are. God makes it known in Revelation that he hates a lukewarm gospel.  So Paul is saying when preaching or in essence when he came to this particular group of people being "The Church of Thessalonians" to preach he/they were gentile and did so in honor to God and even them to preach the word of God. In fact he says we didn't seek the glory of men neither of you not yet above others when we might have been burdensome as the Apostles of Christ. They want to do it in love and meekness but that may be the intent but it sometimes does not work out that way in life as there are those who despise the gospel truth. Paul knows what he is doing. He is a man of God. It could have been that some of them may have  rejected him or the gospel message because he says, "so being affectionately desirous of you we were willing to have imparted unto you not only to the gospel of God but also our own souls because ye were dear onto us." So Paul is telling them they are loved and that the laboring of the gospel in travail was not in vain and it was done day and night with perseverance that their laboring wouldn't be chargeable unto any of them. And he confirms it by saying we preached onto you the gospel of God. At the same time they showed honor in their preaching and humbleness/love & appreciation in their gentile approach because he says "we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you as a father does his children." So it was done with meekness,  kindness, in a loving way so that they would walk worthy of God who has called them onto his kingdom and Glory. There is a saying if God is for you who could be against you. You know the lord Jesus Christ said when you are able to cast out demons then the kingdom of God has come onto you. Christ said repent and believe on the gospel. So, the reason I'm quoting Christ now and what he says as opposed to Paul is because God is calling people to true repentance and to his kingdom. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Now then when the gospel is preached among wolves and they hate it they are being preached the gospel being the kingdom of heaven which can give them eternal life and can save them from that second death. What a gift! Can those who hate the truth appreciate true salvation and the gospel. Answer. No! Why? Because so many have been blinded by the God of this world/age and so many are lost.

"Truly, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." (2 Corinthians 4:4 ; Revelation 12:9 )


  1. The Bible tells us about the second death being the judgement that everyone will face. Christ said that sin leads to death. He told the Pharisees if they died in their sins and they don't believe he is whom he said he was they would perish. Do you want to perish? Where would you go?? Outer Darkness!!! HELL!!! Now then so these people that Apostle Paul was preaching to were fortunate that they had a true Apostle of God administering the word of God to them. But even now in modern times many people are rebellious to the truth and they hate and despise true biblical preaching as they despised Christ. As the Bible tells us he is the rejected cornerstone which is now the Chief cornerstone. Amen. 

The gospel tells us Christ was a man well acquainted with sorrow as he was despised of men, rejected and hated. The Bible tells us the world loves its own. Those who love its sinful nature and follow that broad way and reject the narrow way and the gospel. Those deceived! Light came into the world and men loved darkness. There is nothing new under the Sun. So in essence you reap what you sow. You know the lord Jesus Christ ((Yeshua)) gave the parable of the seed that fell on stony ground basically stating that the devil comes and takes that seed away from you right away and many fall away. So many are on the broad path to destruction and God would want none to perish but clearly we know that many will perish because broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to life. The Lord Jesus Christ said that a man that puts his hands on the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God. Don't look back when God delivered/delivers you out of deception and darkness. You go forward. Recall, Lot's wife looked back and God turned her into a pillar of salt. Isn't it funny that Christ said that when salt loses its saltiness it is good for nothing and for men to trample on it and as it loses it saltiness. That's the same deprived state of mind of those who reject the gospel truth when preached to them with honor and truth. See it's not done to please men but the please God and save souls. The wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. The Bible tells us those things men highly esteem among men is an abomination to God. So many are lost and so many people reject the gospel truth and live a lie. It is my intuition that they are worse than Eve & even (Adam) and they are in rebellion to God as Eve was as they totally reject the gospel of the glory of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us on the Day of Judgment there will be crying and gnashing of teeth. Why? Because many will be sent to outer darkness and be lost for eternity. And they will know it and so will many others whom will be witness of that testimony & event. Why? Because they did not love the truth. The Bible says in God's own word that they could have been saved but they rejected the gospel truth and followed lies and deception. They were children of deception and wicked before the lord. Perhaps some none believers. What was wise in their own eyes was foolishness. They loved not the truth. See the laboring of the Apostle Paul and the other Apostles/Disciples & Christians was preaching the word of God as is not in vain because the gospel tells us the word of God does not return void. They even demonstrated putting that word into action. ((LISTEN)) You reap what you sow. When you know the truth that gospel truth can set you free and then this is when a true believer can see the true state of the world with the eyes of Christ. Then you will realize "now I see what he saw". The lord Jesus Christ said if you want to be his disciple pick up your cross because the world rejects the true light of the gospel truth. The world loves its own and if the world loves you God tells us you become his enemy James 4.4. Some people were called and chosen out of the world. John 15:19 King James Version (KJV) "19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

"9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

You cannot serve two masters. It is impossible. You know they tell the lost in preaching that they love their sins. Especially if it is a worldly sin and it becomes a habit. What is highly esteemed among-st men is an abomination to God. The wisdom of the world is not the wisdom of God as it is foolishness, emptiness and deceit. ((You reap what you sow.)) See in retrospect this is yet why Christ said in vain do they worship me keeping/teaching for doctrines and Commandments of men making the word of God to none effect through your own vain traditions you lay aside the commandments of God. You either love the truth or you despise it. You either accept the gospel with open arms or you're rejected and you get the door shut in your face. So on the day of judgement when there is weeping and gnashing of teeth as many people are sentenced to outer darkness they chose it. They chose the wrong path and were deceived and they chose not to live the truth and to be a supporter of lies. They chose to close off their ears from truly hearing God's word. The devil is the father of lies. Christ came to destroy the works of the devil but clearly many people uphold the works of the devil.

I recommend this video as people who argue with preachers will have their hands full when God sends them to outer darkness. If you hear a preacher preaching to you listen, repent and consider yourselves fortunate as then you will be better off. Rebellion is as witchcraft. Wake Up!
