Peter's Confession of Christ.

16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

Our flesh is weak but we can be strong in Christ by following him and putting on the whole armor of God.

Did Apostle Peter know the same thing Apostle Paul knew regarding this world that we cannot see that is wicked and evil whereby Paul taught us to put on the full armor of God? Doing so takes willingness and the renewal of the mind as well as determination to pick up that cross/gospel and walking the right righteous walk. So, I look at basic scriptures that addresses these issue directly or indirectly. There is a weakness human beings have as they say it is the fallen nature, but it is said in that weakness we are made strong. In knowing this there is one road, one spirit and one body. That being that narrow road and that pure water given by Christ. The refining of the heart by fire. So, we are required to obey God and fear him. People don't fear him. Yes, Hell is REAL. What we do in the flesh including using the tongue to do evil we will give an account to God and by our own words we will either be justified for life with God/Christ or justified for outer darkness/hell. Prayer, the renewal of the mind and doing ONLY those things that be of GOD will help YOU walk the right walk. What is the whole armor of God? Put it on. Read it on this page. Learn the word being the sword of the spirit. It is said that our citizenship is in heaven. The proper way home is to follow Christ/the gospel. Do it. Anything else is spiritual death and destruction is the broad road that most people are on. Many are wicked and hell-bound unaware of what they do. Many seek another gospel/another Christ in all the wrong ways. But they are blinded by the God of this world to the truth. We are born into a fallen world that tells us life is in THINGS. It tells us life is in the doctrine and commands of men including traditions and yes VANITY. Pride brought the fall of Lucifer the devil. But the bulk of the fall came from Adam and Eve. Eve was beguiled by the snake/Satin to disobey God. Today we have the multi-millions around the world doing that. We become a bird of a feature when we follow the wordily ways Christ said brings spiritual death. So many make their own Gods disobeying the real one. Examples: Life is sports. Life in artist endeavor. Life in all the filth that wastes money and puts toxins in your bodies. Life in darkness. Life in hate and gossip. According to Jesus Christ life is obeying his teachings and being a true disciple meaning denying thy self and picking up that cross and following him. He told Peter follow me. He said feed my sheep. By the word of God, you can stay the course and be strong in your weakness. 

There is a deceitfulness that blinds people too sin and makes them a slave and victim of darkness. If this be the gospel truth and it is then what are we doing not obeying the gospel but feeding lust and all the desires that brings forth outer darkness. Well we must realize God created the earth and physical life for a profound purpose, but we are affected by spiritual forces trying to take us off that path to God's Kingdom. We can learn to obey God seeking him and having faith in God in our lives. Read the bible. Seek! By doing this we can find wisdom and learn how to overcome the flesh and walk & fellowship with the living God. There is a deceitfulness in vanity. People perceive vanity, but they do not perceive the blessings and renewed spirit of a new heart obeying the peace gospel fellow-shipping with the lord Jesus Christ. 

You know I look around and I see them building these huge building. Of course this has been going on for years. Men work hard to do so. They get paid for their work being workman. The gospel says the workmen is worthy of his pay. They have lots and lots of big buildings around they are building but what are we really building? Concrete cities? We build to work and dwell/business/living but most of the time what we reap is corrupted and defiled by vanity. In other words, it won't save you and it will one day be no more. We need to BUILD our spiritual walk with Christ. Deny thyself. Somehow, we stack up things and then we take pride in what we own. But in the end, none of that will you take with you to the eternal spiritual Kingdom of God. There is a spiritual Kingdom that men perceive NOT. We hear about it. We read about it. We want it but then suppress it or are led away by evil people, devils, demons or ourselves. We need to learn to walk with HIM in that spiritual walk and we cannot do it if we are unable/unwilling to give up those things that be of men and not of God. Some of those things that defile us lead us into temptation and when we are led away we fall victim to Sat-ins schemes. And his depths are DEEP. That world unseen to us knows us and it is powerful but being  weak in Christ we are strong. He is the head master of the sheep. And taking up the full armor of God requires you to walk that walk that the world rejects. Are you willing? People talk about God, but they say NO to him. Where is your YES?

We cannot do it on our own and Christ even told us so. He said you can do nothing without me. Why? Because we are more than physical beings, but spiritual beings and we are affected by this demonic world that exists that is many times denied. Walking in righteousness and fellow-shipping with Jesus Christ/his father keeps us on the right path. He said if you abide in me that he and his father will come and live in you. That means serious discipline must be implemented and followed. You need a prayer life and that renewal of the mind. You need to be in the word in season and out of season.

Not of blood nor the will of the flesh. (Flesh and blood)

We wrestle against something that troubled Christ as the devil spoke through Peter asking Christ for permission to sift him. He even offered Christ the Kingdoms of the world!! Some have sold out their souls to him. Wake up.

The flesh is sinful. The man that glories the flesh is on the way to hell. The devils knows what to sell you. I think it was Jimmy Swaggart that I referred to in this. He was a TV evangelist who was caught with a prostitute. See our flesh is wicked/Satin knows it and there must be a way to keep in conjunction with the spiritual walk with God. If we assemble/meet our friends and with our mouths talking dirty/thinking dirty we are fueling sin and setting our selves up for a spiritual fall. Therefore, Christ taught, you must deny yourself. You Must pick up the cross and follow HIM. When he was in the wilderness for 40 days and had no food that was to deny the attraction & desire to food. Sure, he was hungry, but you must train/put down the flesh. That slavery to the weakness of the flesh is devastating. People have an attraction to coffee/food and everything that is unhealthy. Smoking! drinking alcohol.  Second hand smoking causes cancer. Drinking/texting and driving causes death. These things are selfish. See "I never knew you". Do they care? No! Some may hopefully.

Why look at this in depth? Because it brings an understanding too biblical principles, concepts and teachings. Even spiritual teachings can help the believer understand and walk the right walk that will bring spiritual growth and understanding. We are so unwilling to obey. People obey lust and won't get rid of those idols. Hollywood! Humans have many. Vanity is an enemy. See instead of walking in spirit and truth we are accustomed to be attracted to big beautiful buildings and idols, things, instead of the heart following the living God. Christ was a poor carpenter. He had nowhere to lay his head! What defiles the man is the wicked things that comes from his mouth and then spoken. King Solo men realized this as he was given the gift of wisdom. People came from a far off to hear him talk as he was brilliant. Same was King David. God gave these men gifts. King Sole-men realized these things we build are meaningless in the end compared to that walk with the living God. We store up things that decay and moths get at them.

"And for me that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth BOLDLY, to make know the mystery of the gospel." Of what? The gospel. Paul was an ambassador in bonds. He spreads the gospel boldly. We was bond to do this and commissioned by Jesus Christ himself. Many people reject it but want God to exist. They want heaven but they live as devils thinking at times "some of them" that they are good. Many are subject to Satin's attacks and he is wicked. Get saved and walk only in the true light. Pagan tradition appeases devils and demons. Not God. It is an abomination against the most high. People cannot accept the truth and they walk in darkness.  Idols and darkness will ROBE you of spiritual growth and shut the door to the Kingdom of God. He is knocking. Do you care. Open the door.

Don't follow the traditions of men. Follow the commandments of GOD. Follow Christ as he said follow me. And don't stay in something that leads you into spiritual fornication. If you do make that choice to NOT listen and you end up in hell you MADE that choice. They will lie to you and they care about their own affairs, and not your spirit/your soul. Pick up the gospel, study it, learn it and obey it. You can have these devils in sheep's clothing for you and the most high God against you. Your soul will be RICH in Christ. Not in evil that manifests it's self as good.

People can WILL to judge people; insult people and be evil but then we wonder is there a GOD. Who is he? The attraction seems to be in THINGS that defile us. Many own a lot and have nothing. They teach their children evil and then deny it. Very true. Some people are fortunate while others have a broken and contrite spirit. God’s word says if you will not forgive others he will not forgive you. I read horrible things in the news where people do not forgive, and they do horrible/unspeakable/terrible things while not realizing one day they will find themselves in hell. They do not know Jesus Christ. They are under the control of those evil spiritual forces. These people are slaved to these things that are not of God but of the fallen world. Sin magnified and glorified by ignorance is death, not life.  At any time, you can turn to GOD and live a holy life. Do it.

Scripture is true and it is the inspired word of God. You have the answer, but you lack motivation being enslaved in vanity when you are under the impression that THINGS of the WORLD will feed you happiness. Being a bird of a feather does NOT lead to heaven and eternal life. It is preparation for spiritual decline and death. That broad path of destruction will overcome you. Christ will give you a new heart, a new spirit if you will say yes to God. Turn from that defiled, stubborn refusal to obey him. You have the sword of the spirit being the living word of the living God. Obey! Do it!
