Justice, mercy, and faithfulness

September 7, 2018

Jesus Christ accused the religious readers of his day being the Pharisees of disregarding the "weightier" matters of the law. As it is written they sacrificed such things as justice, mercy, and faithfulness. They willfully disregarded the heart of the law being a great seriousness and importance to the living God. They swallowed a camel and strained out a gnat.

In this audio/video blog I look at what it means to neglect Justice, mercy, and faithfulness as referenced in the days of the Pharisees, and how people were affected by this unfortunate ignorance and devilish process. The strange thing is there are dictators in the world and so why are they being picked on. They are not really! In a biblical sense there is a deep problem here and we are examining the scriptures to learn. Why is this important? They shut the kingdom of heaven to many seeking to enter.  God choose Israel and made a covenant with the Jewish nation/people and as it is written they eventually broke it. Christ was born in that nation in Jerusalem. These religious leaders gave Christ a chance at first but they eventually despised, rejected and hated him. They were members of the Sanhedrin.  They handed him over to the Romans to be put to death on the cross/tree. And I have a candid look into this biblical passage where Jesus Christ accuses these religious leaders of omitting the weightier matters of the law.  They had the law of Moses and they were so strict that they developed all these ways to try and keep that law whereby they sacrificed Justice, mercy, and faithfulness according to Jesus Christ himself. They seem to have a process whereby followers were being strained so tight there was no room for mercy and fairness. It made it impossible.

The lord accuses them:

Now the master being Jesus Christ accused them of some very series transgressions of the law as he even called them devils, snakes, vipers and the children of those who killed/stones the prophets. Jesus must had had compassion on these people that were being affected and the ones that lost their lives he was heart broken. He had a wonderful heart and he showed it. When he said they strain of a gnat and swallow a camel that meant they catch blind fish/people in the multitudes as they reel them in with vanity and then later shut up the Kingdom of heaven for them. Believe me they do the same things today in various religious systems. This is known and written about. Why? What was wrong with doing this? They are keeping commandments of men and disregarding those of God. Not only that they denied Christ to being the messiah/The Christ and had him flogged and turned over to be put to death to the Romans. They knew something was different with him as no one ever came forward before with such doctrine and such profound unheard-of intellect/love and heart when it came to the gospel/God, the law and things like love, faith, forgiveness, and courage/healing as when Christ said the faith of a mustard seed could move mountains let alone his impressive parables.  Today you have prosperity preacher’s and then you had rock headed teachers of the law. They were too strict that there was little room for mercy to abound the way that it was designed by God to work. They stoned true prophets simply because at times their positions were being threatened. They felt that way.  They must of had wicked hearts. Look at when they went out to see John the Baptist how they were sort of snubbed him and insulted by him. You can sense they were also annoyed with Christ as he did things such as healing people, raising people from the dead on the Sabbath. They refused to implement those fair practices as they loved positions of power and influence. They thought of themselves above Christ.

Faithfulness:

The Pharisees and their faithfulness was in them-self's and their own short comings blinded them and they were rude, arrogant and wicked. Evil is better put!  They rejected Christ and even were insulted that he was the son of a carpenter. No, he needed status according to them to be the messiah. Christ did not respect them as they thought he would. Guess they were dumbfounded in a sense. God is no respecter of persons as written in the gospel.  They did not respect Jesus Christ nor the prophets that they had stoned.  Christ was upset with them as they murdered the prophets. They were rich as it is been written. No wonder a rich man cannot enter heaven. A rich man can not enter the eye of a needle with a camel and they cannot enter as they strain out a gnat and swollen the camel. They are FULL OF IT. They have neglected the heart of the law by the ignorance of man while hating the messiah that the true God had sent them. It's that simple. They were ego driven. Pride can corrupt as does power and influence. The humble will be exalted!

THEIR EVIL:

Luke 11:51

"From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, all of it will be charged to this generation."

Can you sense that they were WICKED! As I said they had people stoned for doing something on the Sabbath they considered work. They became prideful and RICH as I am told. They even hated Christ for healing on the Sabbath and called said such things as: "Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and of sinners!" That's what they said about Christ so imagine what they said about other people. Of course they saw there-selves as above others and holy. In retrospect they did things to be seen of men as their clothing reflected this including their long prayers in public that it is said they did not really mean. God searches the heart.

You see Christ said if you/we won't forgive those whom have trespassed against us his father will not forgive us as well. But he also told his followers/Apostles in his day listen to the Pharisees as they sit in Moses seat but don't do as they do as they lay heavy burdens on men's shoulders but they won't lift a finger themselves. Can you imagine? What double standards.

The gospel says God is merciful to forgive us our sins if we confess those sins to him and ask him for forgiveness. It is said books could not contain all the wonderful things not written about as their are countless things Jesus Christ did for people. Yet he was hated, mocked, spit on and rejected. People look to him or some other him for life while obeying sin instead of his true teachings.

The rebirth of the spirit:

Once a person is a born again believe it is said they become more like Jesus Christ over time. God's word says he will continue to do that great work in them that he started. And those saints/born again believes are told to deny themselves, pickup their crosses and follow Christ. They are to be as peaceful as doves but to walk that narrow walk the world rejects. They are told to love their enemies and nab-ours as themselves. They are to have fellowship with God by prayer. They are to study the word of God and check themselves if they are in the faith. They must put down the flesh daily and stay the course. They must reject doing "their" will and do the "WILL" of GOD. This is what the lord taught in his teachings, parables. Some of these born again believers have special gifts but they are not all the same. They are to use them to glorify GOD. Christ gave many examples in parables. YOU Must be born again.
In conclusion we wrestle NOT against flesh but powers that are very high in a world that we cannot see. Our adversary the devil prowls around looking to devour those he can.   Then knowing that coupled with what the bible teaches regarding abominations when the concern is for religious ceremonies, relics, pagan traditions and man-made traditions that make to null effect the living word of GOD. We must obey the gospel. These religious leaders in their day of Jesus Christ were interested in making converts to their blind religious stumbling blocks whereby they converted the multitudes but ignorantly SHUT the door to the Kingdom of God. Likewise they do the same things in vain today. They themselves don't enter but because of their blindness/omitting what they should have not left undone to do because of their ignorance, self-denial, being thick pride rock headed in the positions of influence/power they had omitted the weightier matters of the law being justice, mercy, and faithfulness.

The very main center of the heart of God's law had been disregarded, omitted as they were actually devils in sheep's clothing. Their hearts were WICKED and EVIL. You don't say! Christ called them devils and vipers & even snakes. Can you imagine. Strange how the reference of snakes to Satin rings a bell. So they were a syn-agog of Satin. There you go.

God hates a proud look and a prideful person. The gospel says he humbles the prideful.  Some people are wicked but one day they will be humbled as they are facing their maker. Some are as these religious leaders will be and when they pass they will find out what they did bought them a one way ticket into hell. They fool their own evil hearts. They are not alone. There are many just like them. God is serious and the fact that he created hell proves that. Absolute pride absolutely fills a person with an over inflated ego good for the fires of hell.

What sanctifies the GOLD?  They thought the gift brought to the Alter did. As they say "The Offering". So for example if God gave us  a spiritual gift as a result of our repentance/or our submission and adherence to his laws and rebirth what make it special? What makes it pure and holy. US?? NO!!!!!!!!!!! God's Spirit! God's POWER! God's holiness.  In other word in more biblical terminology the temple sanctifies the gold.

The gospel tells us not to think ourselves HIGH-MINDED.  One day if any of them make it into heaven they will find out those they despised went in sooner and probably are rewarded a crown or award whereby they hold a high declaration there then them despite they had been teachers of the law.  They become stuck up, arrogant and think themselves better and higher than other people. Christ never forced himself on anyone. He gave them the choice. Those who fail to implement this will stand judgement for this ignorance and unfaithfulness and lack of fair justice. That is the general concept. Since God choose them and made a covenant with them and he expected not to leave these things undone.

What was the extra commandment Christ gave? To love each other. What do people do? They throw the first stone while they are NOT without sin. They are evil but think themselves to be good. They want to enter heaven but refuse to obey the true teachings of Christ/his fathers doctrine. You ever hear the term some parents tell their children "You will NEVER amount to nothing".  Murder! instead of praying and encouraging them they murder them with their evil toxic tongues. Cursing is what it is! Hell is real and we will give God an account for "EVERY IDOL WORD". To wrap it up what did Jesus Christ say? Your least must be your first. In other words treat them with respect and realize they may make it into heaven before anyone else. Treat them GOOD. What you do to the least of them YOU have done it onto me! Do it!

" Justice" meaning: just behavior or treatment.
"a concern for justice, peace, and genuine respect for people"
